Props to those brave engineers who, in the end, after watching 12 weirdly dressed dudes absolutely smash, bash, maim and massacre 85 soldiers of their army, decided to whip out a wooden stick and hold their ground.
If we follow D&D time logic it means that a round is 6 seconds. So that would mean that those guys saw their friends getting destroyed in less then 2 minutes
Since I have started with fun facts on this series, I shall continue so (Kill counts are more time-consuming, and I have less time than in the past) The armies of the southern cities are based mostly on the Ottoman Empire: this is seen mostly in their handgunners, who sport a type of hat used by the jannisaries (though argueably the least common one). The fact that they are the only faction with gunpowder further support this, since the Ottoman Empire was the first nation to adopt massive amounts of gunpowder into their armies.
Is it bad that I wish there was an option after a certain point to go up to a city and go "fuck you I'm in charge now," Francesco Sforza style, and proclaim yourself lord of that area or your men the new "bodyguards" of the local ruler(s)?
@@imzfrozen Please do, it guarantees a fun fight against the closest enemy force when setting up the strong hold (At least 40 enemies). The biggest benefit of it is item storage and tax free sales and purchases.
I'm kinda curious if anything would change if your opponents were all unbreakable. Looks like morale always plays a big role in those outnumbered fights. Those poor conscripts might actually stand a chance by constantly overwhelming your bros if they are unbreakable? Anyways, good video!
I actually tried the legends mod but I'm not sure if I like it. Sure, I like the new enemies and all but I dislike the fact that almost every bro has different perks and some exclusive background traits. The game you build a character is probably totally different than the way you build him in the regular game, not to mention that there's magic too, and I don't even know if that counts as a ranged, melee or undodgeable attack.
@@imzfrozen there is a option to play legends mod with normal perks. You just have to disable the dynamic perk option when starting a new game. I use it because many brothers lack essential perks like battleforged and let's be honest this mod on legendary difficulty is much harder than original battle brothers. Orcs berserks and all goblins get nimble etc. And magic usually is counted as ranged attacks. Also I don't think any enemy use purely offensive damage magic. It's rather things like hexen/necromancers spells.
are you playing with a mod that increases items? cause ive cleared my world maap about 3 times now with a group on day 700 and still dont have nearly that much
You mean named items? I play with a mod that increases the chance of finding champions, which guarantee you to get a named item, so that may be why. Also, I often buy famed items from shops.

Man, call me a coward and a newb, but i always just fuck off from fighting the southers and try to avoid Holy War in general just ain't worth it economically. Either you fight dudes with cannons and swordlances or you get hated on by most of your other customers.
Out of all the foes in Battle Brothers, which do you hate the most? Out of the human factions: Bandit, Northern Nobles, Barbarian's, Southern Cities. Etc. Greenskin's Undead Beasts. I HATE southern armies, not fun to fight against. Crap value in loot. Annoyances to fight against. Their game mechanics do not really reflect their lore, why are so many dodgy mf'er's? Their weapons and armor are worse then the north. And hold less value. And are just fucking annoying. Lindwurms when they get into HUGE groups of 6+. And thats it. I feel the rest of the game is balanced enough once you have played through enough and understanding the mechanics and been through the ringer abunch of times.

Round swing underdog is insanely useful on battles filled with footmen or conscripts

What is the best type 2h cleaver for you ?
I do think the rusty warblade is the strongest but I haven't found a good one yet, hence why I'm using a different one.

i know that u can recruit slaves but would it be a good idea to build your entier army whit them becaus no upceap ?
