Thanks very much Albert, I tried for the weed dance this year but was about a week too late. Guess I’ll try again next year 🤷🏻‍♂️
      All the best mate 👍🏻

Great video - Can't believe that Kingfisher sat there with all the photographers around.

Wow! That is close to Blackburn where I'll be based for a few weeks. I'd love to see a Kingfisher there.👍

Definitely worth a visit John, the main lake has Great Crested Grebe and many other waterfowl 👍🏻

Nice to meet you Dan. Enjoying the videos. The mink turned up in the same place as the Kingfisher later on.

Nice to meet you too Andrew, I think I’ll be making a return trip for the grebes so will keep an eye out for the mink 👍🏻

Magnifiques images de l’oiseau que l’on appelle martin pêcheur en France. Bravo pour cette vidéo et pour les explications. Merci pour le partage, bonne continuation !

That's cool! I have never seen a king fisher here in my area. I am going to do some studying to see if the even live around here. Thanks for letting me tag along!

They are reasonably common around the Uk but incredibly difficult to see, you usually just see a blue flash down the river so it’s always a pleasure to photograph them 👍🏻

Well done Dan. Just goes to show putting in the time and effort pays dividends.

Nice having a place like that where animals are not so scared by people. Good pictures!!

Just found your vlogs and enjoyed every one of them. I especially like your ethics of taking your photographs and leaving without the subject knowing you were there brilliant.
Keep em coming mate and take care.

Even though Yarrow Valley is not too far away from my home, I’ve never even heard of it and not seen the signs for it when on the M6 in that area so thanks for posting. You got some great shots of the Kingfisher Dan and did I see a Z9 in the first part of your video?

    • @danwillis_photography

Thanks Gary, it’s definitely worth a visit it’s a beautiful little country park with very friendly people.
As for the Z9, yes I received mine on the Thursday before visiting Yarrow Valley so this was its first outing. Reviews to come 👍🏻

I think, if I had my camera/lens on my tripod, I think I would have a strap from my lens to the tripod as a safety backup, I would hate to hear it crashing on to the ground, if the bracket failed on me.
