You will never hear a bad song from Alan Jackson. I've seen him 19 times in concert . Sounds just as good live . From his first single "Blue blooded woman " to his latest he is amazingly talented . Sadly he is bringing his touring to a close due to health reasons.

Awe, Alan is so young in this one. You guys must check out his tune with pics & clips of his wife & family called 'Remember when'. A perfect song for a loving couple like you two. Then he has an amazing song that he wrote after 9/11 & it is powerful. It is called 'Where were you when the world stops turning'. For more fun tunes, he has a good one with Jimmy Buffet, called 'It's 5 o'clock somewhere'. Chattahoochee is a lot of fun too. He waterskies in his boots & jeans. LOL
Be sure to watch the audio version of where were you when the world stopped turning, as it sounds better than the live. Just have a feel to it

His song Good time broke the world record for longest line dance. So you have to watch the video. It crosses state lines. The song just makes you feel good

This song was popular in the 90's and the resurgence of country music
This song was written in 1994 right when Garth Brooks, Tim McGraw, Wynonna, Reba, Clint Black and several other artists were hitting it big as cross-over artists and country music was topping the Billboard charts. Here in MN, in those years, the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand concert lineup was at least 50% country stars. So, everyone who was struggling just thought "oh, I'll start signing country music, that'll be easy!" That's what this song is about.
...and why not. I'm rural and beach life born. Guitar, dancing and singing was part of the community, Halls, homes, barns, sheds...meeting places. Go Country. PEACE...👍☝️✨🤓

In the late 80's, I was one of those girls who'd "gone country". I was disenchanted with the direction rock music was going and just opted out. That was where I lost touch with new rock music and just listened to either country or old stuff I grew up on.
