Your dredge is setup all wrong for that material, the mats were completely packed with sand and washing it all out the back. You should have gotten that much gold from a few prospecting pans. That dredge should be catching several grams worth of gold not a few flakes, in that time.
@@excitedbox5705 cleaner water, less material ran at once will work 100 times better. Plus the dredge was getting buried so the pitch was completely off.
@Kylethiemann no problem brotha I always support the missouri channels I noticed you had a couple videos about water main breaks I also work for a city utilities I'm in the water department and water treatment plant I'm a certified water distribution operator
@Kyle thieman... first off...great video! Next thing...have you done a cleanup of the dredge hose itself? I've been wondering if the corrugated hose catches anything? New video perhaps?
Unfortunately, I am once again not impressed by such small amounts of gold but it's interesting to some.Seems a bit salty 🧂 to me. (I just go out and pick it up by the the handfulls right off the sacred grounds of the Squach.) I actually enjoyed your video but I had to see if you actually read comments.
Love the content but I’m just starting out, I’m assuming river = loads of sand, water=water with dredge, comes down to pitch and volume to = gold! I just love watching this type of stuff keep it up man. It’s more gold than u started with.
With my equipment and a few ideas i have but can not make without a couple more hands it would be the perfect setup. Im very creative and have figured out Missouri gold a lot. Lol I love panning. ❤️ Your other finds are fantastic as well! VERY nice catch 😊
Nice color in the end.. imagine if the dredge ran clean! I found myself saying you dont have a spaghetti strainer.. classifier.. nothin in there?? Lol great vid though Man! Im sure folks say the same watching mine lol
Should get a ski boot and mount the clip for it on the nozzle and just chill in a chair or on the bank moving your foot around while you practice making arrow points maybe cast out a line 😂 but nah for real thank you again for the long, amazing formats you make your videos into, I've said it many times but I actually really enjoy the way you let us see a lot of the work that goes into it rather than cutting out 90% of your day and effort like most other people do, it truly is great to have you back releasing content, you're a true legend and hero of TH-cam dude and I appreciate tf outta you 💜
Dam been wondering where you been i was at the Mackinaw River just outside of Pekin Illinois i actually found 9 flakes of gold with a little pan lolol took forever and a day went to go fishing took pan out since nothing was biting and found small flakes but i found gold after about 6 hours lolol
Just made a habit for the small fish that were in that puddle they were going to die in after the river got lower now they have a surviving chance to get back to the main river after a good rain. Also stirred up sediment for all the fish and other wild life that feeds on all of that stuff.
I've seen other videos on dredging and watched a fight and a guy get fired over bringing the nozzle up and sucking air and blowing everything in the box out with the surge. Have you noticed that or haven't you seen your dredge when you do that letting it suck air thing? 🤔🫣
Tests have been done by dream mat to address the surge affects. They’re next to void. At least 97% capture rate for little metal discs. I’m Australian so I don’t know freedom units that well but I believe they used brass discs about 1/4 inch or less? They looked to be about 4-6mm.

Thanks so much for watching !

That’s awesome
Looks like a good shaker table would speed things up.

Not yet!
And I am pretty sure the inside is all smooth the corrugated part is just on the outside.
Watch out for possible gem stones in the bigger size stuff.

Thanks for the feedback! It's definitely a lot of work for a small amount of gold!
lol and yes I read the comments
He and I definitely have a different opinion about INSANE GOLD CLEANOUT. Feels like clickbait. I couldn't tell if he had 1 gram or 50 grams.
About half way through.. your cleaning... but my brain is still seeing the dream mat and box being packed... still watching..
You should put some magnets bellow your blue funnel so you can separate the black sand/iron.

You are 100 percent correct !
How do you feel about jet dry
That’s better than the dawn soap ! I just didn’t have any.

He'll yeah your still here. Thank u
Try dredging deeper, down to bedrock where you’ve been dredging.
That’s the game plan!!!

lol it’s been a while I know but I’m back ! And that’s awesome is there any visible bedrock there ?
@@Kylethiemann no visible bed rock it's by the clay not much bed rock in central Illinois unless your by Peoria
fked up the River, btq what type of chemicals do you use or spoil for that?

Thank you !
Buy you a dollar store kitchen strainer
@@brianevans1851 I am definitely going to do that.
Leather cowboy boots, in water.
It's "insane" the amount of soap that's obstructing my view.
