I lost my Faverolle this past December. She was so sweet and beautiful that I had to have another! They sell out so fast. I enjoy watching them socalize and grow. This seems to be a rowdy bunch!
Mine are 2 weeks old. I too am using the playpen and pads inspired by the chicken-chick! Following your integration so I can get ideas. New subscriber and an Ohioan also! Keep up the good work!
Hi, Terri! Good to hear from a fellow buckeye. I am right in the middle of integration. Although I've done it before, I'm much more nervous this time. Instead of 7 bend to keep off 4 babies, I have 9. It doesn't sound like much difference, but it is! Just curious how you found my channel since I don't have many subscribers. Good luck, and let me know how your progess goes!
They are adorable!!!!! I love how you interact with all your girls. When I got my hens they were 2 years old so I only handle them when I’m clipping wings or checking them out. So cute that they try to ‘dust bath’. 👌😊
Hi, Gloria. I love spending time with my girls. I try to talk back to my big girls by mimicing the sounds they make when they talk to me. Ha, I actually bought a book...How to Talk to Your Chickens! I don't think it's to late for you...just pull up a chair and visit each evening. They love company and telling flock gossip!!! ❤
At what age were you able to use the playpen to brood your babies? Also to use the heat plate? I ordered some from the hatchery and was told the need a heat lamp at first. I have heat lamp and heat plate
Always wanted a Faverolle. Maybe someday! So cute. So fun to watch them practicing for their place in the pecking order!

That was so much fun. I wonder who was having the most fun? You, them, or us? Thanks for sharing
I think we all were having fun! ❤
