I love your videos!! I hope you and Roster Daddy are doing okay and are staying healthy. I have 6 new chicks!! One Saffhire Gem, two Black Sex Link, and and three colored eggers. I have two grown Welsummer hens. So I am enjoying them. I always wanted a veriety from watching you with your chicks. I'm holding them so they will be friendly to being picked up. So fun.🐥🐥
Hello, Gloria! I'm so excited for you. I do think spending time holding and handling the chicks help them bond. Especially if they discover your lap is a warm and cozy place to nap. 2 of my girls from my first flock still race each other to my lap when I sit on the coop steps and pat my legs. The winner settles down for a cozy nap. So precious. I wish you gad a facebook or youtube channel so I could see your chicks. Do they have names?

Is the flooring of the coop laminate or something?
It's vinyl. Easy to clean and cheap to replace. It's a remnant.
