I really like these kinds of reaction, people get to like mental and psychological anime, there is a deeper analysation here, where one has God complex and where do you stand in terms of morality because everything is not just black and white. I like that people also appreciate mental warfares not just flashy anime or they bring the same level of excitement :D

I know it is too late to comment, but in the first chapter, he said that he wanted to make himself known so that people are afraid of doing bad actions, thus putting order in the whole world, he did not do something stupid, he just wanted to stop the rotten of the world that nobody fixed.

It's very similar in feel but also different.- I just found Lelouch from Code Geass a more likable person where Light although I like him as a character its hard to agree with him since his own justification of what justice is but this is what makes the show enjoyable to watch but after this, I would recommend just to give it a shot.
