This was helpful! I’m going to pick up a used 2008 Specialized Tarmac Comp tomorrow and already paid for it (EBay). At least now I can check the bike over and act like I know what I’m looking at!

Is it common for a carbon frame to crack on the seatstay just above the brake? Mine has one... it doesn't seems to be growing, I hope it is just a paint crack

No crack is common. It can be just the paint but it’s worth to check with a carbon specialist. You should be able to find one through google
