for me the perfect challenge is being able to integrate the live performance where I record live and then work it with ableton or studio one in post production. It is a more demanding but complete job, because it allows you to improve what you have done live. In any case, we can very well play music without the daw. great video my friend, there are many interesting ideas!

Thank you so much!! I agree there should be a more complete post-production method for our jams, where you can mix individual stems and add more effects. I'll let you know if I find a way to do this!!

Okay first off can I say, thank you so much for this video, I have a great set of DAWless gear ready to be filmed and begin my journey of posting my own creations online! But!!! I have been hung up in the what gear do I get to film with my phone and still good good audio, what cables blah blah, it’s been a headache but I over think everything, and I’d like to say just finding this video today gave me a little relief. Hope we can connect because I have some specific questions, and I’d love to start filming and jamming and posting asap!

our aesthetic is a lot different, but I'd also say show your face, look at the camera. Keep it under 5 minutes, and drop the beat in first 30 seconds. A spoken intro-outro will please the algorithm. Whatever your regional accent is, use it extra thick so your jam has a sense of place.

also, never ever forget that the people who actually watch these videos, is probably a dude with three subs and two Volcas. Show as much love as you possibly can to those guys, and don't waste time trying to get normies to watch it. Gotta give love to get love, watch other DAWless videos, leave positive comments on what you see and hear. Yes, there's a lot of stinky TD3 videos. Find what is good in each of them!

I've been wanting to upload more professional video recordings to Instagram but I just haven't been able to figure out a setup

Awesome- go for it!! Definitely try a camera with a mic port to capture sound! Maybe a nice prime lens too.

1st tip, take a direct line out from your device, NEVER use a phone mic and say .. it will do !
