I managed to find a new s9 which will be arriving in a couple of days. Had it in its heyday. I have an S23 now. It will be providing the hotspot for the s9. Can't wait to relive the good old days. Plan on keeping everything original and will not be updating the software. 😊
Admittedly, Samsung has plateaud like Apple has. That happens when youre the industry monoliths. But mindless copying Apple? Did you pull that statement out of your ass? Samsung and Apples couldnt be more different lol. Not to mention that the entire industry uses 90% of their technologies based on Samsung made, Samsung patented, or licensed from Samsung tech.
@ battery is great. I have not once took my phone to a shop to have my battery replaced. And it’s simple things I do that make it last - turn off features when I don’t use them. Keeping it on power saving mode. Properly charging cycles. This depends on your lifestyle. But I turn off my phone when I don’t use it such as at work or when I’m asleep.
Can the s9 run facebook messenger? My aunt has a samsung j3 and had to factory reset it.. and it was running msger fine prior to this and now it says not compatible. So wondering if s9 is compatible since it no longer gets android updates.
@@crystalacee I am an s9 user. The battery life is quite bad since it only has 3000 mAh battery capability. It drains very fast, even when u use it for just light gaming. The processor isn't too powerful compared to other phones. The software is getting more buggy over time and is quite old (android 10) which means Samsung doesn’t support and update this anymore. I'd get something more recent like a s22, s23 or even s24 if u really want to. The s9 isn't worth it in 2024, only for simple stuff like taking pictures, making phone calls, sending messages, watching TH-cam, other social media and maybe very light gaming. The phone was good in 2017-2021, now meh. It's very laggy. Also, it gets SO HOT.
it does you must be logged in to a samsung account and playstore accountand have wlan on else the OEM unlock point will dissapear had the same issue 3 weeks ago :)!!
I run it at 70% via battery saver and it runs fine for daily use. My gf has S21 FE and difference feels marginal. Wouldnt count on it being same in heavy use but didnt test it.

I wish Samsung still made phones like this, now they're having an identity crisis and mindlessly copy apple

Still using my S9+, but I manually updated it to Android 14 with OneUI 6.1.1. Works flawlessly.
the 2 feature i miss from those phones are the plug for earplug and the color dot for notification and charging
I have s23 ultra but use s9 plus i like old samsung flahship phones look more premium i love old s9 and iris scanner 🤩 old is gold.
I wish samsung phones still had notification LED's! What was they thinking getting rid of that???
Do you have a way to update the galaxy s9 plus to Android 14 with one ui?

Hi, is your phone a snapdragon variant?
it does you must be logged in to a samsung account and playstore accountand have wlan on else the OEM unlock point will dissapear had the same issue 3 weeks ago :)!!

It's very insane how the galaxy S9 is still powerful even in 2025!!!😮😮😮😮
But the video is 5 months old 😂
How's the battery compare to S10e ?
This is still use android 14 or rolled back to android 10 when u create this video?
Exynos 9810 is extremely powerful, especially when rooted. Of course it surprised.
Lol it's barely as powerful as weak exyons 1280 and completely get obliterated by old snapdragon 778g
@@يوسفمحمد-ح5ث5ه Lol, wrong. Exynos 9810 is = 778G and 778G is much faster than Exynos 1280 😁
