    i like your videos but you need to put more information about each of the individual injury like what happened to each player or the video of the injuries that occurred just
    and not just on this video but others need more info be more specific the mix of videos are dope though and the songs bump

      Yes, I didn't know McGrady's career was ruined by injury. He was the scoring champ multiple times. Maybe the latter part of his career, but it seemed to me like he had a decent career. I could be wrong, because his Orlando games weren't televised.

      +All Sport Highlights So was Hill's! Grant Hill was also a pretty solid player throughout his career despite his injuries! Same could be applied to Rose! Pretty clear he will never be that 2011 D-Rose again, but he could still be a solid/OK player.

  • @leeazo
    @leeazo 8 ปีที่แล้ว +50

    This list is a joke. 1st of all your #1, #6, #9 & #10 would not even make the list. Secondly, players you left off consist of players such as : Ralph Sampson & Bill Walton (both Hall of Famers), Penny Hardaway, Derrick Rose (2011 MVP), Brad Daugherty, Fat Lever, Baron Davis, Chris Webber and heck even Sam Bowie would made the list over your top pick- Greg Oden. And Thirdly, Players on your list; such as Yao Ming and Grant Hill (who I consider the true #1) are too low on this list. In Conclusion, The new list would look as following: #1 Grant Hill, #2 Penny Hardaway, #3 Yao Ming, #4 Tracy McGrady, #5 Maurice Stoke, #6 Derrick Rose, #7 Ralph Sampson, #8 Brandon Roy, #9 Gilbert Arenas, #10 Bill Walton/ Chris Webber.

    A solid list, that suffers from bias of recency. Here are some other names to consider (note my list has some great players who were limited to 7 or 8 prime years, less in some cases) Elgin Baylor, Sam Bowie, Larry Bird, Bill Walton, Kevin Mchale, Zydrunis Ilgauskus (sp?), David Thompson, Willis Reed, Tiny Archibald, Ralph Sampson, Derrick Rose.

    D rose should atleast be an honerable mention. I mean the dude was dominating the league at 22 and won mvp in his 3rd year. Imagine if he still had that level of dominance in him. Even Jordan thought they would win multiple championships and its obvious d rose would have been a top 3 pg in nba history if not injured

  • @adamheighton2536
    @adamheighton2536 8 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    I see what you were trying to do. But the title shouldve been "Top 10 players who were put out because of injuries." Because top 10 players who were destroyed by injuries makes it sound like they couldve been good but they werent because of injuries. Yao, Hill and Mcgrady especially all had great careers but their injuries withered them over time. Being desroyed by an injury means that they had their careers cut short. Some of these guys played for years they weren't destroyed by injuries they just caused them to not play as well.

    I'm a Knicks fan and clearly remember the Allan Houston years. I think we got good years out of Houston. It's a shame this video doesn't tell you how many games these players missed. Considering it's a video about players ravaged by injuries telling us how many games were missed seems pretty damn important.

    Grant Hill should be number 1, i get that the guy still had a decent career after the injury but that is more of a testament to just how good he is. Only he and Wilt Chamberlain have had the highest points, assists, and rebounds per game for a team over multiple seasons. He had Larry Bird/Oscar Robertson totals in these three categories before he had the injury. Dude would have been a top 5 of all time player.

  • @domais68
    @domais68 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I understand the message in this clip and I think some guys really did lose careers over injuries. I'd put Roy and Oden in this category but Hill, McGrady, Yao and Stoudemire did not have their careers destroyed. They were heavily limited but nowhere near destroyed. All played a lot of minutes, saw a lot of All-Star games and got MAX money contracts. Maybe their category is, "were not able to live up to full potential.??" I wish the Pistons didn't screw Hill the way they did or he would never have been on this list. He should (and may have) sued them blue for how their doctors lied to him about his ankle.

    TMac just had horrible luck, 1st His playing time is cut short by his own cousin being drafted to the same team (and ultimately the coach's stupid decision), then he decides to go to Orlando to play with Grant Hill who gets injured, once he is able to get out of Orlando they draft Dwight Howard, he goes to play with Yao who keeps getting knee injuries, around the same time he gets injured himself multiple times, then when he finally has a chance to seal his career on a positive note with the Spurs and have some redemption Ray Allen hits a soul crunching shot.

      +All Sport Highlights I agree he was absolutely ruined by injuries but how good he actually would have been is unknown, they thought Kwame Brown and Darko Milicic were both going to be dominant centers in the future, whereas we know that T mac could have lived out a prosperous career. McGrady is #1 in my mind.
