    Even when they ditch the CVT people still hating. Just give them a recalled nightmare Ford or Chevy. So being non-biased since I drive a Ford I like it! The interior looks very nice. The old Murano could get 28mpg Hwy so I hope this would do better.

      The old one can get 30 highway. But like 16-18 city. Most of my driving is city, so the mileage on my V6 Murano is closer to 20 MPG on average.

      @@BackToTheGame.98 interesting. Would you consider this new model?

    • @BackToTheGame.98
      @BackToTheGame.98 24 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@magnoliap5824 Its tempting. It looks really nice and the new tech is cool. But its missing the power retracting rear seats, which mine has. And the V6 is so nice on mine. Transmission is made of glass, but properly cared for, it shifts smoothly and delivers power, so Ive got no complaints so far, and Ive had it for 9 years now.
      The biggest turn off with this new one is the drive-train and the way higher price. Loud, buzzy 4 cylinder engine and sluggish transmission, and a lot of wheel slip, based on the reviews. It seems it needs a bit of tuning, being the first year of this new model.

    • @BackToTheGame.98
      @BackToTheGame.98 23 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@magnoliap5824 Yeah, the new Pathfinder looks awesome. I like that it still has the V6 AND the 9 speed transmission. Its not much bigger than the Murano, to be honest.
      If they offered the Murano with a hybrid, that would be killer. The Ariya is a nice alternative to the Murano. Similar interior size, but as big as the Rogue on the outside.
      But yeah, 55 grand for the new Murano Platinum... My 16 Platinum cost me 40K.

      We need them, they keep a lot of car companies in check in regard to what they charge fpr tech options. They kind of introduce a lot of tech that often gets mocked when they do but, the others follow suit after a while showing they had it right all along. They are the definition of underdog.

      I believe it has to do with production numbers. Nissan wants an engine that they can easily put in anything. If Nissan is still doing what they are currently and have been for the last 10+ years, putting a sleek new body on an old. Slightly updated chassis, then no, even the new Frontier is still basically riding on the 2005 chassis whereas most carmakers completely update the chassis every few years along with the body. I hope Nissan can further move away from the problematic CVTs, problem is the CVTs have ruined Nissans image that it’ll take a few years for people to warm up to Nissan.
