This is a great video, although I expect no less from this channel. They don't get much exposure, but Mohamed Zidan was top and shout out to El-Hadary who is the best keeper Africa has ever produced imo
Egypt are the all time African Champions wether on national team or club level and despite not qualifying for a very long time they have always been the dominant force in African football as you gracefully highlighted and I personally feel Egypt will explode in this WC and will make up for their years of absence in style Thanks for the excellent video and professional effort👍

Egyptian here. Salah is currently the unanimous current most beloved person in Egypt, not only for singlehandedly dragging one of the worse squads we've had through to the 2017 AFCON final and promoting us to our only third WC finals ever, despite football being the national sport, but also for his heroics in Liverpool, remarkable charity work, staying out of controversy, levelheadedness, and doing things by the book. So much so, in fact, that through our last puppet elections with no opposition, Salah received more than a million troll vote despite being in England.
if you love the playing style of zidane then i suggest you watch a video about aboutika you will love his playmaking ability and fluid style,he was outrageously creative and talented.on top of that he is down to earth and a very good human being.and this is coming from a moroccan fan not egyptian
The media seems to run the wrong story ( not this video ) that Salah scored the winning goal in Egypt's last match. In reality, that goal sent Egypt to the World Cup with a game to spare. They would have been the favourites to qualify even if that match ended in a draw.
Amazing, a good one for your research would be Neuchâtel Xamax in Switzerland, or the Swiss U17 2009 WC winners being underdogs to beat Brazil in their first game this summer in Russia lol

I like your videos very much, but there might be a flaw in the dates in this one - Egypt has qualified after nearly three decades, not two, and the events between Egypto-Algerian controversy are twenty years apart, not ten. Otherwise, a great content.
There's a lot of good and a lot of inaccuracies in this video. I'd strongly advise not to try and explain the politics, because there's a few important things you got wrong, from describe Morsi's election as "free" to not qualifying the coup as widely popular. As far as football, the two errors were: Mahmoud Trezeguet won the penalty for Egypt against Congo, not Salah. And Metab's goal vs. Algeria was not virtually on the last "kick" of the game. It was a header, and Egypt actually almost scored a third after that.
There was actually another incident where a fan threw a rock at a Cameroonian coach and even though Egypt had won the match had to be replayed in France and Cameron ultimately won and qualified instead of the pharaohs
2017-18 is (still the UCL final is yet to be played) the season of Salah - Jürgen Klopp made the deal of the season by bringing him to Anfield from Roma. And he's another of the undeappreciated at Chelsea, who succeeded elsewhere - like KDB and Lukaku. Salah has every right to be Balon d'Or contender and even outright winner, but sadly IMO he would be close, but not close enough. The World Cup would play crucial role in determing the winner. Egypt, whose chances to progress any further than 1/8 Final at best are considered not the best (weird stuff happen before like Senegal shocking the world in Korea/Japan '02), would have to rely on (if not soley) Salah's magic in a group featuring Uruguay with Suarez and Cavani, and the hosts Russia. And Saudi Arabia too, but let's face it - they're the token "punching bag" even in this group (still anything can happen).
