I think there are not visa providing authority and it doesn't make sense to ask any questions. Vfs is just an agency to help visa process.

I applied in October ! Got appointment in January. It might take a bit longer

Thanks for sharing your experience. I have a question regarding the start date/valid from date in Visa. Is this the date same as your employment start date in Berlin? Or we have an option to travel before the start date and get everything arranged before our employment start date?
You can put any start date. Not a problem

It took a week for me. Passport will be delivered after getting stamped itself. Congratulations 😁

I booked an appointment in vfs in the category " bachelors more than 90% with unconditional letter" . But what i have is a conditional letter.

I am looking for a job seeker visa , my question is as there is uncertainty of when we can get the visa appointment . Do we have choice to chose the date of travel . Let say if I get appointment in March (currently in waiting list :( ) , then can I opt the date of travel after 2 months (say in May)? can you please share some details on what is the maximum time that we can chose the date of travel .
Since, you get your visa for 6 months. It would be preferable to have the travel date as soon as possible
@@beingindianingermany when you tried to book the appointment , was it booked in waiting list for you ? or was it showing you the available slots ? if was in waiting list , how long it take to clear the waiting list and got the appointment . Thanks.
@@VijayKumar-xv5bn Waiting list can take months depending upon which location you’re applying from. Sadly but that’s the truth!

Maximum travel date should be within 6months of the visa appointment!
I am employed in Bangalore, but I do not have the rental agreemet.I do have my employment contract stating my base location as Bangalore and a declaration from my employer that I currently work there. Do they check the address proof ?

Is degree certificate is must because I have only my provisional certificate and whole mark sheet, my question is it's enough for vfs interview or not

Rental agreement is important. You can also get it online or from some broker nearby. Try that

Banglore was easiest to get appointment. Like I applied on 3rd & got it for 5th!

I have a question related to the address. My address in passport is different than the current address.. So should we give the address according to passport in visa application form ? If so will there be any verification happening?
Because I see you have applied from Bangalore but you were from Mumbai. I hope you might have had a similar scenario?..
You need address proof like rental agreement

I had applied for Germany Employment visa (Skilled worker with Academic degree) almost more than 3 months ago.stll my visa not yet come.
I asked VFS Mumbai for status they told me that still in process.
What should I do?

Hi @Surbhi Sharma, Did you already attend the interview? I have also applied for employment visa, and have not got any public health insurance from my future employer yet. I am yet to get the appointment, as I am waitlisted.
@@HelloWorld-hf8ug Hey! yes, I had my appointment 2 weeks back. So, apparently we cannot apply German health insurance while residing in India because they require your German address. So, for appointment just take your Travel insurance (i took from Bajaj allianz, 180 day, cost me around 5k) which would be sufficient to get visa. However, once you land in germany, you need to get health insurance.

About appointment - I remember I applied for appointment on 12 April,
On 3rd may I received an email from VFS with a link related to the availability of slots,
Then I got the appointment slot for 16th June.
About stamping, I am still waiting for my passport. VFS people told me that it takes around 4 weeks, so yess, currently I am in my 3rd week of waiting. :P

Universities don’t process your visa. It’s German consulate who takes care of visa processing. Vfs global is the official site for any visa related information you need.
