Hi, I'm Flio's dad. Today's my birthday and he made me an awesome surprise with exactly THIS gameboy from your vid. I've got this console on Xmas, when I was eleventeen. Now I'm fourtyfive and cried more tears as when I've got it the first time.
You've done an awesome job! All I wanna say is THANK YOU! 😘
The first game I'll play will be GARGOYLE'S QUEST and l'll beat the freaking shit out of the end boss... 😎

Hey Bro, I really want to thank you for this video.I just bought a gameboy dmg (yesterday) for $50. Perfect conditions, the only problem was the it wasn't reading the games right. I opened up the games and cleaned them but still wasn't reading them. so before opening the gameboy I tried looking for videos but nothing. until I got to yours and the exact thing was happening. I was finally able to fix it thanks to you. Much obliged!

Beautiful work! I would love to watch a video where you repair a Gameboy, and then immediately put in Super Mario Land and speedrun the entire game! Maybe you could even speedrun the repair! 😆

"cleaning" with uv and peroxide shows good results but really takes forever. That evil power button ;) hehe. i like the original gray design of the gameboy, although matte black sure looks cool too. maybe I'll get one for a few hours of nostalgia.

Guess what... I have a black edition flying around here somewhere. ;) and yeah, depending in the yellowness or even worse, yellowness plus stickers the bleaching process can take longer then expected.

ah the button being picky about working i have a 3ds that has a x button that was no always responding to the button being pressed i cleaned it with ipa and it still would not work right but then i decided to get some slightly longer screws and insert them and now it works everytime it seems the og screws never tightened at all there for that part of the board would not stay in place and made the buttons feel spongy im happy to say i fixed this 3ds also replaced the buttons and joystick and l and r ribbon cables and a new screen plate love ur vids and glad to see these working again

Great news! Sometimes Im wondering if all these screws are necessary but maybe they are to make perfect connectivity with the buttons. Thanks for your comment!

this copper foil have insulation? so that it doesn't short circuit with the contacts underneath it? im confusing because you clean the white coat from Cooper foil.
