@@soasertsus Gotta rmb that central tokyo/ central osaka has a wider range of foreign restaurants. Walking into your neighbourhood supermarket or convenience stores won't usually have ingredients such as tortillas.
Your best bet would be either Costco(need membership) or Hamasama(low cost convenience stores that sell imported ingredients)

The funniest to me is that if Ririka was going to make a food item from scratch that she couldn't find in the store, the *easiest* would be a tortilla (and cheap to make too). Legit a 5 minute thing, but she uses a friggin pizza instead 😂

A while ago I concocted Enchiladas inspired by Haachama, now I'm considering a quesadilla inspired by Ririka.
You could classify this as either a quesadilla or a breakfast burrito if you rolled it up. Looks good to me. I'll eat it.
In Northern Mexico, that could be classified as a "Montado" since a "flour tortilla" equivalent is used, but only if it had also refried beans.

As a Mexican I feel horrified about this pizza taco dish.
to me cooking is, when you know the combinations of not really good things together makes really good things. For example, turmeric, ginger, cloves, cinnamon, aren't that good if you ate it by itself. But somehow, curry is delicious. Now, sausages, harissa and tortilla, is good ingredients on its own, so it shouldn't be that weird😂

Ririka is the epitome of the Japanese way when it comes to food. I watch a lot of documentary in NHK to learn that the traditional way of Japanese cooking is seasonal. You can make miso with different ingredients depends on what grows or is catch that season. Same with other food that's why I love that concept and follow it in my cooking. Ingredients is also cheap and easily available when it's in season.
Ririka is like that except that she goes what she sees in supermarkets. 😅
