My Rabbit had all these symptoms when he was 2months old, and we were on a lockdown due to the pandemic so Vets near us were closed so I tried critical care and mixed it with water and force feed him using a syringe every 2 hours. Making him drink through the syringe as well as crushing pellets into the water to make it soft and put that on a syringe as well to force feed him, I did this until he was back in health (hadn’t had a good night sleep cause I have to wake up to check on him) but it was worth it cause he survived and he’s 7months old now. I pray this comment gives you hope for your bunnies 🤍

I had my bunny who got sick on Easter when vets where closed for two days I cared for him till the third day he came back from the vet and they told us he had floppy bunny syndrome and ammonia, we gave him his prescription medication and cared for him every hour till he didn't need to he syringe fed. He was doing fine until he starting giving up and didn't want to eat we tried syringe feeding but he refused. We gave him a bit of food in the morning and the afternoon we went to the movies we came back he died on the floor. I wish I knew what happened. Im so upset this was today and he was the best bunny you could of asked for I had an Instagram for him and everything. Why oh why does bad things happen to innocent bunnies. He survived 10 days being sick RIP my little bunny I'm surprised he stayed alive this long.
Cait Chats I've had a bunny that lived for 4 weeks, he died because maybe he got sick or a heat stroke and I told my mom it was a bad idea so I know what you've been through trust me I miss little bunny name cuddles now I hot two rabbits to take care of best of luck for you getting better
Gotta force feed with the syringe, burrito blanket them and start squeezing it inside their mouth til they start licking it up. Your rabbit probably went into gi stasis from not eating
Very good note. My bunny purrs all time as he a little love monster and he's special needs so sick a lot but I have to be ultra tuned in to know the difference
my rabbit got a cold like she said its not common he went to the vet and they said he had a 98% chance of death and 2% life they said that he needs medication But they said he wouldn't make it through the night so they didn't give me the medication he had a big hair ball in his tummy witch made him very sick but like she said don't 100% agree she was absolutely right he survived and is very healthy and happy
Glad he survived. I heard lots of hay and a weekly brushing can help prevent hair balls. Since they can’t cough it up like cats it’s even more important that we do preventive care.
When you first got your bunny were you scared of maybe not caring for it right because i am getting a bunny and I'm scared that i might not treat it the way I'm supposed to but I'm doing so much research on bunnies so it can have the best life as possible. thanks for posting great videos. Of course. 100%. I was so nervous of doing something wrong and every time he got sick i would feel like it was my fault and feel so guilty. But after time i learned more and more about Pinky and bunnies in general and that fear lessened, but it won't ever go away. Because you'll always be worried about him, i guess kind of like a mom. What you are doing is very good, researching about bunny care is the best thing you can do for your future bun bun. And the fact that you are scared shows that you will take such good are of your bunny. Thank you so much for your sweet words. I just lost my bunny. She got really sick one day and had a fever of 106. It caused brain damage and paralyzed her feet and partially paralyzed her legs. I had to hand feed her and move her around every five hours but that life was just too much for her and she passed away in my arms one night.. I am glad to have free time again but at the same time I was so used to being by her, and playing with her 24/7 (yes a paralyzed rabbit can still play). I really don't know what to do with myself other than watching markiplier lets play's all day.. Its been really hard so lately, so everytime I see a video like this i want to cry..
Aww...I'm so sorry for your loss..❤️🐰💗 I can't imagine the pain of losing a bunny. I had to leave Pinky behind a month ago in Denmark with a new family because we moved here to The Philippines. I miss him as well but at least he's safe and happy. I know you're sad and if watching gaming videos makes you happy then you can do that but it might help if you can volunteer at animal shelters. Kiwi died this morning. He was crying and i was so heartbroken hearing him like that. Once we got to the animal hospital, there was no more sign of heart beating. He was so strong, and i miss him so much.

My rabbit just passed away yesterday...I have some doubts whether he died of old age or due to sickness :( he was 12..he was sitting down hunching all the time for the past few weeks/months and he pooped everywhere...and wasnt eating a lot..plus his eyes were wet and one went blind...We brought him to the vet few months ago and the vet gave him some meds and eyedrops...😭😭 I feel so sad..I had him since I was 6..He could have lived a much better life 😭😭

Just a note, pineapple juice and papaya can actually make stasis worse. The amount of sugar in both fruits outweigh the amount of enzymes needed to do any good. Here's a reputable article on it: rabbit.org/gastrointestinal-stasis-the-silent-killer-2/ D. Enzymatic digestive aids These can be helpful in loosening and softening an impacted mass of food and hair (which, we remind you, is usually a symptom, not the cause of the problem!). Proteolytic (protein-dissolving) enzymes may be of either plant or animal origin. Papain (found in papaya) and bromelain (found in pineapple) may help to break down mucus binding an obstruction, thus allowing it to slowly break up and pass. However, there is no evidence to suggest that these enzymes break down keratin, which is the main protein component of hair. Both papain and bromelain are available in powdered form at most health food stores, and should be reconstituted in water or Pedialyte shortly before use to ensure maximum potency. Papaya tablets are little more than a sugary treat: they contain very little active enzyme. A note on pineapple: Canned pineapple juice is useless, as it has been cooked, and its enzymes denatured and inactivated. Even fresh pineapple juice is not as desirable as powdered bromelain, since it is high in sugar, which is just about the last thing you want to add to a compromised rabbit’s intestine! Only fresh or frozen pineapple will provide active enzymes (bromelain). However, neither bromelain nor papain (papaya enzyme) dissolves keratin, the main protein component of hair. The sugars in pineapple juice may actually promote overgrowth of Clostridium spp. If a hair/food mass proves particularly stubborn, even after rehydration efforts and plant enzymes have been tried, your vet may wish to try a more powerful, animal-derived enzyme product such as Viokase, which contains pancreatic enzymes to break down proteins, amylases to break down indigestible carbohydrates and lipases to break down fats. Although these enzymes may be better than bromelain or papain at breaking down an obstruction composed of ingested matter, they should be used with great caution, as they can burn the esophagus and cause temporary (two or three days) discomfort in an already sick bunny. If Viokase is to be used, it may help to administer just enough pediatric simethicone or laxative grade mineral oil to coat the esophagus for a moment just before the enzyme solution is given.
Very informative. I have heard elsewhere that giving carrots, pears, apples, etc can be bad for rabbits though - causing them to develop GI stasis. Other than that, very helpful. Thank you.
Both of my bunnies Nicky and Willow died with in a span of a few months. They never met, They both passed away in two different ways, and it’s probably been the heart breaking death I’ve gone through. It’s even worse then when my cat died, and no it’s NOTHING like having a hamster so you cannot compare there either. Rabbits are just as high maintenance as DOGS and growing bonds with them is something words cannot explain. My first rabbit, Nicky, helped me through all of my issues for 7 years before getting murdered by a dog we were looking after. Waking up to her dead lifeless body was so hard. My issues started shooting back to me. My trich disorder, my depression, my worries of bisexuality etc. Soon enough I was surprised with a new baby bunny. She was so precious. I could instantly tell that she would heal me, and I felt as though our bond would only grow together. I started spending all my time with her just like I did with Nicky. I taught her various tricks because man was she smarter then any dog I had ever met. (And that’s saying a lot because I work for a doggy daycare business) Waking up to her dead body was almost harder then Nicky. She was my last hope. A reason not to worry or dwell on the bad. Living proof that things could get better. When she died I lost all of my hope. And I lost all of my bravery. I lost a part of me. The only thing that kept me going were these bunnies. They were my best friends. I can’t express the feeling. Even after they died I had been offered any animal, whether it be a dog, a cat, etc. Let me tell you, you’ll never pick dog over bunny if you have had a bunny of your own. With the proper research and care you’ve got yourself a delicate, more gentle blessing version of any other pet. I would automatically jump to the idea of another bunny, but I’m too traumatized so that is the last choice I would make right now. Now along with all of my other issues I’m dealing with severe anxiety along with it because I’m in fear that if so many bad things can happen in a row, then something really awful is coming. I’ve managed to convince myself of awful things that keep me awake crying at night. Things that made me have two panic attacks on a gorgeous vacation I should have been enjoying. I can’t go a night without crying, panicking, or hurting myself. I am just so confused and I don’t know how to make it all stop. Please please let me know if you read this. Let me know I’m not just boring you and that you actually have some care because I’m not crying for attention, im looking for a genuine answer. I need help...

By the way Their droppings are not suppose to be yellow, her rabbits are because of the Hay but if you feed your rabbit green hay then expect to see dark or light brown droppings, just clearing up any confusion :)
Yeah it could be from the dust. Is your bunny sneezing constantly? Try replacing the hay with a new one with less dust and see if it helps. If your bunny doesn't stop sneezing though, i would suggest you take your bunny to the vet. Good luck 💓 //Maria

Space Hamster This is true! Also rabbits grind their teeth when they are content, too. Not ill. Also, why didn’t you mention watery poops, runny eyes or nasal discharge? Those are the biggest signs of a sick bunny most times. Usually means they have snuffles and should be seen by a vet right away.
I've been giving my bunny vitamins for about two months bc she was sick and had weepy eye then I have her lots for chewing hay and she doesn't have weepy eye anymore

I'm scared after I found a flea in the bathroom, we had loads of fleas in the summer and they seemed to have gone.... My rabbit is currently living inside but I'm freaking out and worried he'll get fleas and die... His brother died of what we think was stasis, and I'm not letting my other bud down!

ArtAndBeautyFreak My dad was working at a construction site and his friend fell into a rabbit hole. The mother wasnt there and my dad rescued them. He only rescued them since there were so many snakes in the yard. He came home with them a few hours later. We bought some milk and a bottle for them and they were fin until we noticed something. One of the rabbits, named Hazelnut, when we held him up, his back legs would just dangle from his body. They were only 10 days old. We new this since they had just opened theur eyes. The next day, I noticed he wasnt moving almost at all. We were going to take him to the animal shelter since they could probably do much better eith him than we could. I picked him up and help him for about an hour. Is about 30 minutes until we were going to leave and I noticed he was opening his mouth as if he was breathing heavily. I started to tear up and didnt want to tell my mom. He did this for around 10 minutes and then he just stopped moving. I told my mom and she saud that he had died. I actually cried for a while and a few minutes later we dug a small hole and put him into a box. We put the box into the hole and put the dirt back over it. Its the only spot in outlr yard that dosent have much grass on it and its a grim reminder of what happened. The other bunny, we named Peanut, is doing fine. He is about 1 1/2 months old now.
My rabbit ( funny bunny ) hasn't been eating normally. All he eats is treats and I'm worried about him. He has been very upset and depressed lately and hasn't been cleaning himself. I've given him his favorite treats, toys, and lots of love. And he is still upset. His ears droop and instead of bouncing around ( my rabbit doesn't hop, he bounces ) he has just been... Not bouncing... And I just leaned that funny bunny is a little blind. I need help!!! I don't know what to do for my child!!! ( I call my rabbits my children ) Please help....

I treated my bunny as a real king. Very good food, a lot of herbals and the best hay, gave him a lot of love and even companion. In my town pets which are getting sick in not standard hours and on weeekends , they are cursed. No help. I wet to a vet who wasn't specialist in rabbits and he got my rabbit to even worse state, after a next day I went to a vetclinic which was specializing in rabbits, but instead of urgent surgery, the vet told me to massage his tummy. He died because of thay. His intensines or stomach just blowed up like balloon
I really appreciate the examples that you SHOW,like the position pinky was laying in that was a sign that she was sick ,I have a bunny myself she just turned two in November I 've been worried a about how she been breathing although it not consistent thru out the day she's been breathing like humans do around this time of year when we're congested etc
Very helpful .. Rabbit should always have a sand spraying with water mixing with Clorox that will prevent a lot types of infaction even spraying the drinking water one time. This is from my experience with rabbits.
My bunny, Angel, is grinding her teeth a lot and started eating her bedding. She is 9 - 10 weeks old. Angel is shaking a lot but, I don't know if she's sick or scared. This is still her 2nd day and it's past midnight right now. I'm really worried. I want to ask my parents if we can go to the vet but in a few days we are taking her on vacation far away so I'm nervous. This is our second rabbit but we are still not well educated about them. Bunnies normally grind their teeth. My bunny does and i had her for 6 months and always done that , and my bunny also ate bedding and i think they think its hay and hay helps file their teeth and if youre not giving a bunny enough hay they could use the bedding as hay.. but i also heard its normal so i think youre bunny would be fine
Jacky Garnica Thanks. I found out the reason she was grinding her teeth was that I needed to buy pellets. She needed something to chew. And that was also the reason she ate her bedding, even though she still eats it from time to time. We already bought pellets but I think they were too big for her to chew. I bought her some different pellets and she stopped! She started eating the big ones too. On vacation, she wasn't stressed much. She was eating hay and drinking water but she wouldn't eat her pellets. I really appreciated your help! Thanks a lot! I realized that I like to make long comments XD Have a great day!
ArtAndBeautyFreak It's fine! Everything went well, and I figured out the problems. I needed some smaller pellets since she was still small. Then, she started eating the bigger ones too. My rabbit has been having sneezing fits just wondering what's wrong with him . My rabbit also stared grunting but I thought it might be because I introduced a new rabbit and I thought it was a boy but is actually a girl.
Good video. :) I just want to say, if you leave the vet and want a second opinion, get it FAST, the same day! Don´t let your bunny stay in a lot of pain, if it needs to be put down, it needs to be done quite fast usually. But ofcourse not all vets are good at rabbits so try to find a vet that really have knowledge about rabbits! :)
What’s crazy is my rabbit runs from his medication. Sometimes I wanna give up. What I do is drop it on his fur and he’ll lick it off. My rabbit tries running and everything he thinks of not getting in a burrito.

My rabbit allways has dark brown poop. It’s normal. I only feed her Timothy hay, that does not contain flowers or anything. And she eats regular pellets so it’s completely normal

My bunny of 7 years passed away yesterday. It was so hard seeing him gasping for air/heart attack not sure what it was. He was perfectly fine, I got home from work he seemed a bit more still and calm than usual I ignored it and the next morning he didn't move at all rushed him to emergency pet hospital but he didn't make it. Wish I had took him to the hospital as soon as I saw his mood change.

If she is changing her position like she is uncomfortable then it could mean she has gas. Bunnies can't release gas so just keep an eye on her. Make sure she is eating and going to the toilet. If she doesn't stop then you can take her to the vet so they can check her tummy and make sure she doesn't have gas. They have medication to help her. Good luck! //Maria 🌷

We have a rabbit. She is 6 years old. Recently we find that down of her eye almond size hard flesh. By seeing x-ray doctor said it is teeth infection. We r using antibiotics now. My rabbit isn’t eating but now he finally is as I’m typing this I gave him kale last night and found that he didn’t eat it or pellets. It’s 4am so it’s considered the 3rd day. He is shedding a bunch so as I was brushing him he started grinding his teeth. And of course since he isn’t eating his hasn’t pooped.
My guinea pig died, I was trying to pick him up but than he got scared and ran into a pile of stacked wood leaning against the fence. I couldn't get him out so it had to leave him over night... When I woke up he wasn't there he ran into a pile of green waste, we used to burn it every day to get rid of it. When we where burning it he must of ran away some where. He was missing for about 6 days until my Dad found him halve eaten, dead on the ground. I cry sometimes and remember the day's when he was alive. Very sad. 😞😣😩🥺
I was watching this video and seeing Gemma Louis's comment and I was so scared that my rabbit 'Chikoo' will die and after that I was panicking and my rabbit had opened his mouth fully and squeaked and then he died I cried a lot after that he died yesterday and did not show any signs the day before yesterday he was only 10 months. I found my rabbit coming home from school laying on ur side like she never has before , I picked her up and she just flopped back down , and she was extremely skinny, I fed her and gave her water , my dad brang her to the vet and they gave us the same feeding medicine in this video. Hey, I'm a young child who is really quite worried about my rabbit. She is a mini rex. If you still read comments, please reply. My bunny will eat and everything, but she will breathe with her head tilted back and heavily, we consulted a vet but the medication they gave her has not seemed to do anything. She will also run around happily, but while she eats, she won't put pressure on her front left paw, this only happens sometimes though. Please do reply and thank you for reading. I am really quite concerned for her health. The reason we don't take her to the vet again is because my mother refuses to. Help!

I had my bunny who got sick on Easter when vets where closed for two days I cared for him till the third day he came back from the vet and they told us he had floppy bunny syndrome and ammonia, we gave him his prescription medication and cared for him every hour till he didn't need to he syringe fed. He was doing fine until he starting giving up and didn't want to eat we tried syringe feeding but he refused. We gave him a bit of food in the morning and the afternoon we went to the movies we came back he died on the floor. I wish I knew what happened. Im so upset this was today and he was the best bunny you could of asked for I had an Instagram for him and everything. Why oh why does bad things happen to innocent bunnies. He survived 10 days being sick RIP my little bunny I'm surprised he stayed alive this long.

my rabbit got a cold like she said its not common he went to the vet and they said he had a 98% chance of death and 2% life they said that he needs medication But they said he wouldn't make it through the night so they didn't give me the medication he had a big hair ball in his tummy witch made him very sick but like she said don't 100% agree she was absolutely right he survived and is very healthy and happy

Glad he survived. I heard lots of hay and a weekly brushing can help prevent hair balls. Since they can’t cough it up like cats it’s even more important that we do preventive care.

Of course. 100%. I was so nervous of doing something wrong and every time he got sick i would feel like it was my fault and feel so guilty. But after time i learned more and more about Pinky and bunnies in general and that fear lessened, but it won't ever go away. Because you'll always be worried about him, i guess kind of like a mom.
What you are doing is very good, researching about bunny care is the best thing you can do for your future bun bun. And the fact that you are scared shows that you will take such good are of your bunny.

My bunny hit his head into my drawer and i think he’s kinda dizzy that time but when I gave her she’s fav treat, he becomes active again.
I just lost my bunny. She got really sick one day and had a fever of 106. It caused brain damage and paralyzed her feet and partially paralyzed her legs. I had to hand feed her and move her around every five hours but that life was just too much for her and she passed away in my arms one night.. I am glad to have free time again but at the same time I was so used to being by her, and playing with her 24/7 (yes a paralyzed rabbit can still play). I really don't know what to do with myself other than watching markiplier lets play's all day.. Its been really hard so lately, so everytime I see a video like this i want to cry..

I can't imagine the pain of losing a bunny. I had to leave Pinky behind a month ago in Denmark with a new family because we moved here to The Philippines. I miss him as well but at least he's safe and happy.
I know you're sad and if watching gaming videos makes you happy then you can do that but it might help if you can volunteer at animal shelters. Helping animals will make you feel happier.

Kiwi died this morning. He was crying and i was so heartbroken hearing him like that. Once we got to the animal hospital, there was no more sign of heart beating. He was so strong, and i miss him so much.

Future GT Yes, when I took my rabbit to the vet, they said to bring the rabbit back if they aren’t eating anything that you give them.
My rabbit died because he was pooing so much and i found out at night that he hade bactiria in his stomatch so i coudent do much i just cleaned him up and was praying he will be alive in morning .

My rabbit just passed away yesterday...I have some doubts whether he died of old age or due to sickness :( he was 12..he was sitting down hunching all the time for the past few weeks/months and he pooped everywhere...and wasnt eating a lot..plus his eyes were wet and one went blind...We brought him to the vet few months ago and the vet gave him some meds and eyedrops...😭😭 I feel so sad..I had him since I was 6..He could have lived a much better life 😭😭

Just a note, pineapple juice and papaya can actually make stasis worse. The amount of sugar in both fruits outweigh the amount of enzymes needed to do any good. Here's a reputable article on it:

These can be helpful in loosening and softening an impacted mass of food and hair (which, we remind you, is usually a symptom, not the cause of the problem!). Proteolytic (protein-dissolving) enzymes may be of either plant or animal origin. Papain (found in papaya) and bromelain (found in pineapple) may help to break down mucus binding an obstruction, thus allowing it to slowly break up and pass. However, there is no evidence to suggest that these enzymes break down keratin, which is the main protein component of hair. Both papain and bromelain are available in powdered form at most health food stores, and should be reconstituted in water or Pedialyte shortly before use to ensure maximum potency. Papaya tablets are little more than a sugary treat: they contain very little active enzyme.
A note on pineapple: Canned pineapple juice is useless, as it has been cooked, and its enzymes denatured and inactivated. Even fresh pineapple juice is not as desirable as powdered bromelain, since it is high in sugar, which is just about the last thing you want to add to a compromised rabbit’s intestine! Only fresh or frozen pineapple will provide active enzymes (bromelain). However, neither bromelain nor papain (papaya enzyme) dissolves keratin, the main protein component of hair. The sugars in pineapple juice may actually promote overgrowth of Clostridium spp.
If a hair/food mass proves particularly stubborn, even after rehydration efforts and plant enzymes have been tried, your vet may wish to try a more powerful, animal-derived enzyme product such as Viokase, which contains pancreatic enzymes to break down proteins, amylases to break down indigestible carbohydrates and lipases to break down fats. Although these enzymes may be better than bromelain or papain at breaking down an obstruction composed of ingested matter, they should be used with great caution, as they can burn the esophagus and cause temporary (two or three days) discomfort in an already sick bunny. If Viokase is to be used, it may help to administer just enough pediatric simethicone or laxative grade mineral oil to coat the esophagus for a moment just before the enzyme solution is given.
Very informative. I have heard elsewhere that giving carrots, pears, apples, etc can be bad for rabbits though - causing them to develop GI stasis. Other than that, very helpful. Thank you.

Both of my bunnies Nicky and Willow died with in a span of a few months. They never met, They both passed away in two different ways, and it’s probably been the heart breaking death I’ve gone through. It’s even worse then when my cat died, and no it’s NOTHING like having a hamster so you cannot compare there either. Rabbits are just as high maintenance as DOGS and growing bonds with them is something words cannot explain. My first rabbit, Nicky, helped me through all of my issues for 7 years before getting murdered by a dog we were looking after. Waking up to her dead lifeless body was so hard. My issues started shooting back to me. My trich disorder, my depression, my worries of bisexuality etc.
Soon enough I was surprised with a new baby bunny. She was so precious. I could instantly tell that she would heal me, and I felt as though our bond would only grow together. I started spending all my time with her just like I did with Nicky. I taught her various tricks because man was she smarter then any dog I had ever met. (And that’s saying a lot because I work for a doggy daycare business) Waking up to her dead body was almost harder then Nicky. She was my last hope. A reason not to worry or dwell on the bad. Living proof that things could get better. When she died I lost all of my hope. And I lost all of my bravery. I lost a part of me. The only thing that kept me going were these bunnies. They were my best friends. I can’t express the feeling. Even after they died I had been offered any animal, whether it be a dog, a cat, etc. Let me tell you, you’ll never pick dog over bunny if you have had a bunny of your own. With the proper research and care you’ve got yourself a delicate, more gentle blessing version of any other pet. I would automatically jump to the idea of another bunny, but I’m too traumatized so that is the last choice I would make right now. Now along with all of my other issues I’m dealing with severe anxiety along with it because I’m in fear that if so many bad things can happen in a row, then something really awful is coming. I’ve managed to convince myself of awful things that keep me awake crying at night. Things that made me have two panic attacks on a gorgeous vacation I should have been enjoying. I can’t go a night without crying, panicking, or hurting myself. I am just so confused and I don’t know how to make it all stop. Please please let me know if you read this. Let me know I’m not just boring you and that you actually have some care because I’m not crying for attention, im looking for a genuine answer. I need help...

By the way Their droppings are not suppose to be yellow, her rabbits are because of the Hay but if you feed your rabbit green hay then expect to see dark or light brown droppings, just clearing up any confusion :)

Yeah it could be from the dust. Is your bunny sneezing constantly? Try replacing the hay with a new one with less dust and see if it helps. If your bunny doesn't stop sneezing though, i would suggest you take your bunny to the vet.

Space Hamster This is true! Also rabbits grind their teeth when they are content, too. Not ill. Also, why didn’t you mention watery poops, runny eyes or nasal discharge? Those are the biggest signs of a sick bunny most times. Usually means they have snuffles and should be seen by a vet right away.
As you are right if a bunny sheds that has a chance of being sick tho it is normal for them to shed.

I'm scared after I found a flea in the bathroom, we had loads of fleas in the summer and they seemed to have gone.... My rabbit is currently living inside but I'm freaking out and worried he'll get fleas and die... His brother died of what we think was stasis, and I'm not letting my other bud down!
Aww..Just make sure to comb through his fur and keep his area clean. If you're really worried then you can go to the vet and have him checked out, just to be sure.

My dad was working at a construction site and his friend fell into a rabbit hole. The mother wasnt there and my dad rescued them. He only rescued them since there were so many snakes in the yard. He came home with them a few hours later. We bought some milk and a bottle for them and they were fin until we noticed something. One of the rabbits, named Hazelnut, when we held him up, his back legs would just dangle from his body. They were only 10 days old. We new this since they had just opened theur eyes. The next day, I noticed he wasnt moving almost at all. We were going to take him to the animal shelter since they could probably do much better eith him than we could. I picked him up and help him for about an hour. Is about 30 minutes until we were going to leave and I noticed he was opening his mouth as if he was breathing heavily. I started to tear up and didnt want to tell my mom. He did this for around 10 minutes and then he just stopped moving. I told my mom and she saud that he had died. I actually cried for a while and a few minutes later we dug a small hole and put him into a box. We put the box into the hole and put the dirt back over it. Its the only spot in outlr yard that dosent have much grass on it and its a grim reminder of what happened. The other bunny, we named Peanut, is doing fine. He is about 1 1/2 months old now.
My rabbit ( funny bunny ) hasn't been eating normally. All he eats is treats and I'm worried about him. He has been very upset and depressed lately and hasn't been cleaning himself. I've given him his favorite treats, toys, and lots of love. And he is still upset. His ears droop and instead of bouncing around ( my rabbit doesn't hop, he bounces ) he has just been... Not bouncing... And I just leaned that funny bunny is a little blind. I need help!!! I don't know what to do for my child!!!

I treated my bunny as a real king. Very good food, a lot of herbals and the best hay, gave him a lot of love and even companion. In my town pets which are getting sick in not standard hours and on weeekends , they are cursed. No help. I wet to a vet who wasn't specialist in rabbits and he got my rabbit to even worse state, after a next day I went to a vetclinic which was specializing in rabbits, but instead of urgent surgery, the vet told me to massage his tummy. He died because of thay. His intensines or stomach just blowed up like balloon

Rabbit should always have a sand spraying with water mixing with Clorox that will prevent a lot types of infaction even spraying the drinking water one time. This is from my experience with rabbits.

My bunny, Angel, is grinding her teeth a lot and started eating her bedding. She is 9 - 10 weeks old. Angel is shaking a lot but, I don't know if she's sick or scared. Bunnies normally grind their teeth. My bunny does and i had her for 6 months and always done that , and my bunny also ate bedding and i think they think its hay and hay helps file their teeth and if youre not giving a bunny enough hay they could use the bedding as hay.. but i also heard its normal so i think youre bunny would be fine

Thanks. I found out the reason she was grinding her teeth was that I needed to buy pellets. She needed something to chew. And that was also the reason she ate her bedding, even though she still eats it from time to time. We already bought pellets but I think they were too big for her to chew. I bought her some different pellets and she stopped! She started eating the big ones too. On vacation, she wasn't stressed much. She was eating hay and drinking water but she wouldn't eat her pellets.

It's fine! Everything went well, and I figured out the problems. I needed some smaller pellets since she was still small. Then, she started eating the bigger ones too. She also did very well on vacation. She wasn't stressed in the car like people said. She just wouldn't eat her vegetables or pellets. Thank you for this great video too! Have a great day!

Good video. :) I just want to say, if you leave the vet and want a second opinion, get it FAST, the same day! Don´t let your bunny stay in a lot of pain, if it needs to be put down, it needs to be done quite fast usually. But ofcourse not all vets are good at rabbits so try to find a vet that really have knowledge about rabbits! :)
What’s crazy is my rabbit runs from his medication. Sometimes I wanna give up. What I do is drop it on his fur and he’ll lick it off. My rabbit tries running and everything he thinks of not getting in a burrito.
My mother rabbit won't eat anymore and can't hop or even stand.. What do you think is wrong with her..?

My rabbit had been have diarrhea and has a very deep crusty looking infection next to his eye.

My rabbit allways has dark brown poop. It’s normal. I only feed her Timothy hay, that does not contain flowers or anything. And she eats regular pellets so it’s completely normal

I'm thinking my bunny is a little depressed. I came back from being at my moms for 3 days (my dad comes up and gives her love and food and water) and I came to my room and she'd usually be happy to see me but today she just kind of sat there, she's eating normally and drinking normally, she's running around a decent amount, but she's just looking really sad. she kind of sits in a normal position and stares, most times she'll be sleeping but other times she'll just stare

Any idea why? Were you sick? Did they get a proper diet? Bunnies can live 7-12 years so 9 months seems like something was wrong.
My bunny of 7 years passed away yesterday. It was so hard seeing him gasping for air/heart attack not sure what it was. He was perfectly fine, I got home from work he seemed a bit more still and calm than usual I ignored it and the next morning he didn't move at all rushed him to emergency pet hospital but he didn't make it. Wish I had took him to the hospital as soon as I saw his mood change.

It wasn't your fault. That's the hard part with animals, because they can't talk and tell you they're unwell.
You did everything you could. Try to remember the good times you had with him. I know the pain of losing a bunny...It's been a year since Pinky passed and i still think about him but just know you'll feel better soon.

My bunny is pushing her butt on the ground and keep changing positions when she lays down. Is that normal??
If she is changing her position like she is uncomfortable then it could mean she has gas. Bunnies can't release gas so just keep an eye on her. Make sure she is eating and going to the toilet. If she doesn't stop then you can take her to the vet so they can check her tummy and make sure she doesn't have gas. They have medication to help her.

We have a rabbit. She is 6 years old. Recently we find that down of her eye almond size hard flesh. By seeing x-ray doctor said it is teeth infection. We r using antibiotics now. My rabbit isn’t eating but now he finally is as I’m typing this I gave him kale last night and found that he didn’t eat it or pellets. It’s 4am so it’s considered the 3rd day. He is shedding a bunch so as I was brushing him he started grinding his teeth. And of course since he isn’t eating his hasn’t pooped.

My guinea pig died, I was trying to pick him up but than he got scared and ran into a pile of stacked wood leaning against the fence. I couldn't get him out so it had to leave him over night... When I woke up he wasn't there he ran into a pile of green waste, we used to burn it every day to get rid of it. When we where burning it he must of ran away some where. He was missing for about 6 days until my Dad found him halve eaten, dead on the ground. I cry sometimes and remember the day's when he was alive. Very sad. 😞😣😩🥺
I was watching this video and seeing Gemma Louis's comment and I was so scared that my rabbit 'Chikoo' will die and after that I was panicking and my rabbit had opened his mouth fully and squeaked and then he died I cried a lot after that he died yesterday and did not show any signs the day before yesterday he was only 10 months. May his soul rest in peace.
Making this video was a great idea many times it can be hard to notice if a bunny is not feeling well

I found my rabbit coming home from school laying on ur side like she never has before , I picked her up and she just flopped back down , and she was extremely skinny, I fed her and gave her water , my dad brang her to the vet and they gave us the same feeding medicine in this video. It’s been 2 days and she never moves from one spot , it’s like her legs are broken . I need advice and I hope she gets better :(

My bunny will eat and everything, but she will breathe with her head tilted back and heavily, we consulted a vet but the medication they gave her has not seemed to do anything. She will also run around happily, but while she eats, she won't put pressure on her front left paw, this only happens sometimes though. Please do reply and thank you for reading. I am really quite concerned for her health. The reason we don't take her to the vet again is because my mother refuses to. Help!
