wtf... while Gundam is a work of fiction, it portrays reality in a cry of anti-war sentiment (which is the basis of the whole UC saga). While Zeon can be percieved as "bad", it is not because of the nation itself, but rather the Zabi family. Daikun created Zeon for a good purpose, but was assasinated because the old man Zabi was just power hungry. BTW, Zeon's independence was suppose to mirror real independence (such as the US independence), but the atrocities are a different story.
The Zabi rise to power mirrors the rise of the Nazis in Germany very heavily, the scene in 0083 OVAs where they show the Colony being gassed then dropped is to reinforce their connection to the atrocities of the Axis Powers.

DivineHyperion I've never met anyone who liked G-Saviour, and I can see why many may not like Seed/seed destiny, F-91, G-Gundam, Turn A Gundam, and a few others, mind you I loved the latter two xD
TheKnownOfAwesome I don't even recognize G-Savior as Gundam mainly because it was mostly a Starship Trooper ripoff with a sprinkling of mechs. Seed/Destiny is decent at most whereas it's a gateway to most non Gundam fans I do admit Destiny got a little hard to watch halfway through. F-91 was too short for its own good yes, but the animation and action was top notch. G Gundam was super robot nationalist fun and Turn A turned out to be quite good despite its initially goofy premise. Not saying people aren't entitled to their opinions, but you can't really be a fan if you don't at least appreciate every series for what they are unless they're complete irredeemable garbage like Saviour.

To me, UC has just as many super robot elements as AC, the character formula of nerdy kids becomes newtype to fight enemy ace pilot related to love interest or other heroine is quite generic and tiresome. The suits themselves are awesome. I like aC a bit better because it has more variety with the characters.

Nah, I don't think so. 0083 is considered to be one of the best OVA's in the history of Gundam. Widely. Considered. You may not like it, but don't be all like "pfft duh everyone knows that." Some people do not find it wrong at all for a Gundam to have all those elements specially when it comes to Zeon.
Well its is really funny because how hammy it is. Also there is a stigma about Hollywood ruining imports, but G Savior was made by sunrise in Canada. Whic is hilarious.

considering that it's another way for japan to say that they didnt do anything wrong in WWII, and the heroification of extreme militarists, hell no. the themes in 0083 are just so wrong to consider in a real world perspective
0083 has pretty nice animation overall, but the plot is lacking at best and completely inane at worst. I believe there was a change in writers around episode 8, which is why the ending makes no sense and completely poisons the show.
