Landrover Discovery 4 LR4 Headlamp Buld Replacement

Hello, if your not seeing well at night in your Landrover Discovery 4 (LR4), this is how to change your headlamp build.

Makes sense. Take off the grill to change a bulb.

Just came here as I just bought a discovery 4 for the wife and it needs the replacement headlight. Nice to see you have good taste. I have a 2000 Mini Cooper (last edition) and a 1997 VW transporter as well. 😂

Good vid thanks, but how do I change/fix the adaptive light? I've noticed my passenger side adaptive light doesn't come on when turning left. The driver side (right) adaptive light seems to work fine though.

If one of the daytime running light strips on the driver side isn’t working what could be the issue?

I’m pretty sure these aren’t replaceable parts (but I might be wrong). Check the plug at the back of the unit for corrosion or wiring damage leading up to the plug. Also check for water in the unit itself. If you take the rubber covers off the main and dipped headlights you should be able to see the back of the dlr lights. Sorry not sure that’s much help.

Hi Nathan, bulbs are a bit of a nightmare as different regions have different light clusters. But I have orange P21W as my front indicators amzn.to/3grjJ7w. and I actually have leds bulbs for my side lights amzn.to/38q7Wn7.
If these don't look like yours, pop them out and head to your local motor factors.
Which reminds me, I've had led main bulbs in for almost 2 years, I need to do a vid on the long term test.

Amazon link is the wrong bulb for US LR4’s.

Hi, thats weird It should be a H7 bulb, unless you have a Xenon upgrade. If you have then it might be this bulb amzn.to/38f1NKj. But obviously double check before you buy.
