Been running loads out of a cargo van for the past month and a half. Grabbing my first box next saturday, going to be hiring someone to drive the van soon. God is good and im allowing Him to order my steps. Lets see what Jesus has in store for me and my future!
If you're getting into this business do not be scared to call or go in person and try and work with these customers directly... Especially if you're local customers always appreciate a local partnership. You will be saving them money by cutting out the broker and also the dispatcher on your end.. So it works out for both of you. Thinking outside the box in this industry separates alot of people who are successful and fail.. Also dont be scared to get skinny with the rates to establish your work ethic and form thay relationship as it will come back to you ten fold... Dedicated contracts/Quarterly bids is where the money is.. If you have questions just ask, 7 years as a broker that ran my own sales team and was in National Sales coordinating with all your major big box stores and 2 years in the warehouse space.. I also will be getting a 26ft/Lift and a Sprinter here shortly... The money is there in this industry you just have to want it.

I’m in CA, my quote came in at 6k. Deposit , first and last month payment @1700 a month. It is expensive.

Man I needed this video. My best friend and I are in the works of buying a box truck to benefit our future. And all this talk about how the tucking industry is dead, this and that is discouraging but one thing I know about myself and my best friend is we don’t take failure as an option. If you want something bad enough you will make it happen. There’s more out of life than working your life away working for someone else. Life is meant to be enjoyed so get out and do something to make life enjoyable. Best of luck to everyone getting into the industry, go make that bread!!

Biggvic I just got a quote from progressive auto insurance for $49,000 a year paid in 3 quarters for insurance is this accurate or can you recommend an insurance company that’s way cheaper?
That is way too high!! I’m currently working out some things with another insurance company. I can’t recommend any companies that don’t respect the business I send with a check. No free referrals for them from me. ✌🏾

That can all depend on the load and the broker, partial, full load, good broker vs shady broker. So many variables fam. 🥵

Should be your next step right after getting your LLC. Without the MC and DOT, you won’t be able to truly start the process with getting insurance and seeing what’s out there in the market

The trucking industry is crap right now!!! JB Hunt took a 70 million dollar lose from the same period last year. Other trucking companies have called it quits! Some companies have laid off drivers. This game is over saturated. I don’t know if he needs to keep feeding y’all crap to keep his channel afloat, but I’ll challenge you guys to do your own due diligence and perhaps invest your money into a wise investment. Yeah I call cap fr. Keep your job if it pays well continue to invest into stock market, etc…. And keep researching what’s the best avenue for your money!! Trust me I ain’t lying.
