Just happened to stumble upon your channel. Instant subscription. Good info. Just designed a vanity and cabinet for my step daughter. Wish I'd seen this vid first. I would have incorporated cubbies Last comment.. wife made me stop and design first too I normally just cut and adjust on the fly.. planning definitely helps.
Good moring, can i please have i actual measures for the cabnets dresser, please i been wanting to do my own vanity and i loved this the way you bulid your dauther dresser and how it slides in and out ..i also love how the table top part just hook on for easy moving.
Hi! So I’m trying to build myself a vanity just like this but I keep confusing myself and I have lots of questions. I would love it if you could upload a more clear picture of the measurements that you used!
This is AWESOME! Such an awesome thing for a father to make his daughter. Most men aren't even in their daughter's lives anymore unfortunately! Awesome awesome awesome! Would you ever consider making any to sell? Or making kits to put together yourself? What scares me about it is using a router to cut out drawers and just making drawers in general.
I too would love plans. My daughter wants this except not as many drawers. We've never done drawers so this is a great into post for us! I'd love to know what program you're using as well. I hand draw sketches if I dont buy them.
I know it has been a while since you made this but i want to recreate this, do you still have the plans for it and the measurements that I could follow?
I actually get asked this a lot. Unfortunately I lost the plans due to a computer crash. However, I'm thinking of remaking the plans because so many people asked for them. If I ever get around to remaking the plans, I'll let you know.
@@TurntasticWoodDesigns Thank you for getting back to me so fast! Me and my boyfriend are actually staring this today. so we are going to do the best we can!!
It was the stomp before he started talking that let me know he is about how business...lol...father all the way right there good video and great explanation
I made a copy of the completed cabinet by selecting the entire thing and doing a Control-C ten Control-V. Then i pulled the components out of the copy one by one and laid them out on a 48 inch by 96 inch rectangle. I kept moving the components around until I got the best fit.
@@TurntasticWoodDesigns thanks and by the way you are the most organized and detail woodworker I've found on here yet. Very good work, please keep it up

Do you have a full set of plans for this build for purchase? I want to build this for my wife for out anniversary.
I stopped the video on his cut list mock up. I zoomed in and then took a screen shot and printed it. With that you can easily fabricate this project.
So much better than anything you can get in ikea or michaels! And it’s priceless 😭💞
Thinking about building one for myself. So happy I came across this video
She is so lucky to have such loving father like you. God bless
potions and elixirs 😂😂😂
Greatest father EVER!!!!
Nice build, love the idea it can be taken apart for easy transport.
Yes. Just remove 6 screws that hold the top and it breaks down into 3 pieces.
"Pretties" immediately said a dad was talking.
wow you must love your daughter so much to put so much effort into this. This design would cost around $250 or more. And she got it for free!
Another good solid build, plus it looks great!
Awesome !
Super fabulous.....I want one!
You deserve more likes!!! Thank you!!!

It was the stomp before he started talking that let me know he is about how business...lol...father all the way right there good video and great explanation
Do you build and ship?
Awesome work! How much money did a project like this cost?
Cherokee Stewart Hart A little over $100 USD
This is so cool!! 😁
How much was in total?
I'm guessing this is 1/2" plywood?
Did she paint it ? How does it look?
Steph z Yes. She painted it purple and it looks pretty good.
How did u add the original photo to Sketch Up to break it down into pieces on just 2 sheets?
I made a copy of the completed cabinet by selecting the entire thing and doing a Control-C ten Control-V.
Then i pulled the components out of the copy one by one and laid them out on a 48 inch by 96 inch rectangle.
I kept moving the components around until I got the best fit.
hello, would you mind sharing a copy of the plan from SketchUp?
Love it!!!!
would you be willing to send the plans for this?
I lost the sketchup file when I got a new computer. sorry.
Thanks for the reply, no worries
Love it
Decent
💙💙💙
Looks so neat! What kind of drawing software is it?
Is there a way I can get the plans?
Sorry. but I lost them a couple of years back when I switched computers.
You didn't rip a slot in the back of drawer for 1/4" plywood to slide in for the bottom?
No, I make the back of the drawer shorter and tack the bottom of the drawer to the bottom of the back.
How thick is the plywood you used?
Albert Morrow 3/4 inch

You could start making good money if you start building vanities for woman
Brittany Crass I only have time to do this evenings and weekends. Also, I don’t really like to make the same thing over and over.
Doing the same right now
