Friends EX Boss Battle Snackless Toastless [OMORI Modded]

I don't have the console version to try the genuine friends fight itemless toastless, but this mod released which takes heavy inspiration from it will do. Instead of a 2 v 3, this is a mirror match of 4 v 4, and only by defeating Omori EX is the battle won.
This is a pretty complex fight with shenanigans not seen in the vanilla console version one. They deal a LOT more damage and there's quite a bit of scripted patterns (such as vertigo + run n gun + last resort nukes in turn 4 and 5). The friends can feel up to tier 2 emotion, with Omori EX feeling tier 3. Most importantly, they will be locked out of their skills if their juice is zeroed, so angry is actually a viable strat.
Initially I tried to take advantage of their scripted rain cloud late into the fight, but that was wayyy unreliable, so now the plan is to kill their juice ASAP which is just barely possible. Aubrey and Omori are the most dangerous ones. Aubrey EX's beatdown will kill very easily, and last resort is death, only way to avoid it is to have it miss or drain her juice. Omori EX's vertigo aside from being a nuke and max atk debuff can inflict afraid, also has stare and a reasonable damage output. Kel EX, once debuffed, is actually not a threat except for his pretty damaging follow up thats thankfully rarely used.
As for why mesmerize and cant catch me was spammed, if Hero EX detects an ally with no juice, he will try to restore it using the call follow up. The targeting is bugged however, and it targets the counterpart of whoever Hero EX targeted for attacking. This way spamming mesmerize and cant catch me ensure he always hits Hero or Kel, never restoring Aubrey EX's or Omori EX's juice since it tries to restore his or Kel EX's juice instead. This will also keep him in a perpetual cycle of basic attacks instead of using his skills, even though he has the juice to do so.
Using a sad team was the safest way to tackle them despite being snackless, especially as they confetti themselves early on. As for why I killed Omori EX the way I did and not the friends:
-They can revive each other, if multiple are down Omori EX can revive all of them at once with jam packets. So it wasn't worth trying to kill them.
-Hero EX can heal upwards to 10k if an ally is low and if he has the juice to.
-Omori EX can actually release energy when low dealing fixed 300 damage, avoidable by killing him in 1 action (not turn) when above around 5k hp. (sometimes it doesnt work tho, maybe I was misremembering, but either way a recovery should be possible)
Anyways, I had no idea of any of this going in, learning how it worked took a lot of trial and error

And the strat’s really cool too. I mean, this is probably the first time that juice drain starts have happened in a boss. Then can’t catch me/mes so Hero never heals Omor or Aub, and of course sad strats. It’s all over the place, and I love it. Can’t wait to -suffer- try out this new strat.
