I suggest for somebody doing this to NOT take dissonant (anti bell) bc even without it long as you have a echo mult of 2.5+ it gives 3x
gives like ~5 more total echoes if you do end up getting bell + rerolling it, but yes this would be absolutely necessary for S rank (if they ever implement it in the game)
i have a legendary bell slot with everything done (rerolled a regular bell to kamui), im waiting until the update on monday to wipe it to make sure they don't add something that gives echoes beforehand.

Usually proper grading systems dont have an S rank
badges just got released, now there seems to be a way to get an S rank
it'd be interesting to see someone actually try what you mentioned (legendary bell) for s rank
From what I know a youtuber streamed himself trying to get it but he only got 130 from missing legendary bell + layer 2 no lighthook

My report cards never showed any S ranks man. even with extra credit, it only ever got up to an A.
You need to do a no hit run and get 100+ echos for S rank

It wouldn't because since the build is so old he never got the chance to put on the echo multipliers on that character
The video just explained that it doesnt count total amount of echoes, you dont need multipliers
people also just automatically assume that because theres a ranking system there HAS to be an S rank, A rank could just be the cap and there is no S rank. I always thought the idea of S rank was kind of weird because the letter S is way lower than any other letter, but thats just me

can't you get 2 echoes everytime you make a wish with yunshul, and you can reset wishes at miserable. so you can get inf triumphs
bargaining with yunshul only gives 2, the wiki says it's repeatable but it's not

@@Simon12135 nah its fine i was gonna wipe it anyways but I got my bell and rerolled just for the extra echoes and then somehow rolled kamui, I messed around with it for a bit and then wiped, would've kept it if the build wasn't actually horrible, though.

Fighting things like bosses will give u bell prog which if u get enough bell prog and get knocked in depths it full heals u and gives u your bell. Bells are powers that can give u a auto grip heal move or give u random weapons there's many different bells I would look at the wiki

the legendary bell thing isn't true i wiped with kaumi and didn't get 35+ echo from "legendary bell"
yep, making sure to check my sources better on my videos. For some unholy reason the wiki said it gave 35 echoes and I went based on that.
Apparently drowned bells (legendary corrupted bells) give 50 echoes but it hasn't been confirmed.
For S rank you have to play with all echos multiplyer, beat every boss no hit, catch 100 golden fish, beat every faction leader, solo every layers drowned god, control all luminents, eat 7 elder edenkite hearts, eat 1 dread serpents heart, defeat every celestial in combat, eat 1000 megurgurs, and wipe to mudskipper in that order

hello, deepwoken moderator johrn here. Sorry to inform everyone that S-Rank is not obtainable by any means, it was originally going to be 250 echos but that idea was scrapped and they only made A so no, there is no S-rank

ranks are based on echoes from triumphs, not total echoes (ex: chaser giving +5)
