I think the new shrines and knowledge system are a very underrated new feature of Verse 2, not many people know about them even though they are so helpful
Idk why but I feel like if you use them you might be locked off from some things later
@@mein4081 how so? If you mean running out of knowledge, you can go to layer 2 floor 2 and get medallions to earn more or (I believe, not 100% sure) you can get them from bosses such as duke

@@mein4081 There's a bunch of quest people just don't do as well, there's a potion making quest that gives 9 knowledge

big tip: don't take any talents that you will already meet the requirements for after your stats have been balanced. focus expensive cards, prerequisite talents, and talents that you will no longer meet stat requirements for post-order first

Yup, i got exo, cheap shot, Underdog, jetstriker and more with only 31 in each stats in the end
to get brickwall u need 100 fortitude and 100 willpower and at that point u should be around lvl 15 or so not leaving so much room for change.

@@WasdTheFirst you might be able to get it slightly earlier if you have the right race and go attumentless. Then after character creation you could go get the potion for the attunement you want

if u have 100fort then use shrine of order and now its at 30 is the hp fort bonus reduced aswell

There's a Shrine of Blasphemy at the Hidden Village. It gives 4 levels. The downside is that you need 55+ points to level up. Though, leveling up is made easier(?)
Update: Once you hit 15 investment points, you'll need more experience to level up.
you'll also get a random flaw when you finish talking to the shrine

risk of rain 2 is my favorite game 600 plus hours and I love the inspiration from it in midwoken.

Hey Punchee, have you tested potentially what would happen if you used the Shrine of Order with a shield that has high fortitude requirement or any other similar items?
ive been using the shrine of order from release, if you eqip a item when you have enough stats for it, then use shrine of order the item stays equiped

The only reason i wouldnt use this is that i like high agility, and theres a really noticeable difference in your movement with the agility stat
Fair but you'll get used to it. Besides, the benefits of practically getting the talents you want for free outweighs the hindrance to climbing walls. You realistically wouldn't need more than 20 agility anyways as that allows you to climb almost every wall in the game.

One cool thing to have even more control is to use the shrine of blasphemy or something like that at power 9, you'll get to power 12 without the investement points!

@@g.r.r.2610 Yeah, but in this case this is actually a good thing if your planning on using shrine of order! You hit the level requirement to use the shrine sooner while keeping your investment points that can be used after balancing your stats.
Punchee can u remake the uncap stats method the map got changed
I understand Deepwoken takes a lot of inspiration from other games and sometimes copies things too but my major concern with that is if they can get copyrighted by those games, I know other games do the same sometimes like for example dark souls is heavily inspired by berserk but it genuinely concerns me.

you said it only distributes stats with at least one point, does that include the +2 you get to two stats from your race? if so that could make it a lot trickier to use this
