Both QB's were counted out before the season, yet both led their teams to the super bowl title.

I "subtracted" nothing from the Ravens' stats because they are the younger team larger. Anything the Steelers did before the Ravens joined the league in 1996 is irrelevant to their rivalry with them. What is so difficult to understand about that?

I said nothing about the playoff record outside of that being a stat that people should use more with the rivalry because that's actually relevant to it. The only thing I said about the *future* of both teams is that the AFC North title is up for grabs this year given the status of the three teams in contention for it.

It's making a safe prediction based on what all four teams in the Division (apparently Cleveland is still part of the AFC North) have went through during the offseason so far and what their schedule look like- each team has two opponents nobody else in their division is scheduled to face. I walked around downtown Pittsburgh and Heinz Field for around 3 hours with a big Ravens Flag and my Hey Pittsburgh shirt and a black and white pitbull with a Ravens scarf on. A few people hurled threats (I reciprocated) and told me how lucky I was my dog was there but no one did anything. And the Ravens won ha.
I "subtracted" nothing from the Ravens' stats because they are the younger team larger. Anything the Steelers did before the Ravens joined the league in 1996 is irrelevant to their rivalry with them. What is so difficult to understand about that?
And again, the NFL itself consider the Ravens' records to start before 1996 and that they do not have any of the Browns' previous history. Anything the Steelers did before then is only relevant to the Browns, not the Ravens.

I said nothing about the playoff record outside of that being a stat that people should use more with the rivalry because that's actually relevant to it. The only thing I said about the *future* of both teams is that the AFC North title is up for grabs this year given the status of the three teams in contention for it.

Matt Elam is probably going to be your best draft pick production. As ours is likely Jarvis Jones or Le'veon Bell. The Bengals drafted a TE something they probably didn't need.

You've been around how long? Like 80 years? The Ravens have been around like 17, counting the colts nearly 60, and Baltimore together has 4 championships, with one as the Ravens, 3 as the Baltimore Colts, we may not have 6, but who expects that in such a short window of time?
Steelers fans hammered for "the past" argument by all NFL fanbases (not just the Ravens') because they typically use "six rings" (as if four of them weren't from 30 years ago) as their go-to argument anytime the Steelers are facing any heat or fail to win the SB in any particular year, even if they go 8-8 in 2012 and their QB threw two crucial INTs in back to back games or get knocked out of the playoffs by an overhyped QB of an 2011 8-8 team that plays in one of the weakest division in the NFL.

It is funny how Steelers fans are shifting the goalposts to include their team with the Ravens after their Superb Owl run which included outplaying Peyton Manning and Tom Brady in back to back road games, tying Montana's playoff record- while Big Ben starts the 2012 season 2-3 (includes losses to the Titans and Raiders), gets injured midway through the season, comes back near the end and loses three straight.

It's making a safe prediction based on what all four teams in the Division (apparently Cleveland is still part of the AFC North) have went through during the offseason so far and what their schedule look like- each team has two opponents nobody else in their division is scheduled to face. Right now my safest prediction for the AFC North is Cincinnati with Baltimore a very close second.
