it's kinda amazing what the ravens did. Beat a strong colts team in the first round of the playoffs. Then go to Denver in the mile high stadium in freezing cold weather to go against a record breaking Peyton manning. Then travel to foxburrow to go against the pats but yet they dominated them and flacco out played brady. but the most amazing part of that is the super bowl win the 9ers had one of the best defenses and an on fire offence. to do that with dozens of injuries and with all the adversity through the year is just unbelievable lot of respect for the ravens and especially joe flacco for competing with some of the best qbs to ever play.

    • @natedeanmaan2
      @natedeanmaan2 10 ปีที่แล้ว +11

I think that anyone that respects the game can agree with this. Ray Lewis' last ride was a thing to see. The win against the Colts in Baltimore, the amazing game against the Broncos, the best revenge against the Patriots in the AFC Championship Game, and then the surprise of the Super Bowl. The Ravens dominated the first half of the game, then the 9ers made a great comeback and made it a game, and to tie it all in a bow, the Ravens won it on a 4th and Goal stand. It was the best way to send one of the greatest players into retirement.

natedeanmaan61 Baltimore ravens, greatest team to ever win a Super Bowl comprised of a least 2 players that deserved hard time in prison. But as we learned with OJ you can buy freedom if you have $. Pro Bowl running back woman beater and linebacker that is directly involved with another man’s murder. Thank God for 🦌 antler spray, the best lawyers money can buy and a jury with at least a few raven/Miami Hurricane fans that successfully scammed their way on to the jury for his trial. I find it so weird that he was accused of such a heinous act yet we don’t ever hear it brought up. And although Rice deserves the punishment he got for beating a woman what Lewis did took a life. Ray Rice married his victim whereas Ray Lewis‘s victim was buried in the ground which tells me (A) if she can forgive Rice then we all should forgive him can and (B) people will see what they want to see especially if they are good at playing inside linebacker. How is it possible to murder someone or be involved in it yet have a successful playing career after it? But some dirt bag beats the shit out of his wife and she basically says "I deserved it" doesn’t get a second chance. How things of changed. Nate did that bother you or any fans from Baltimore. Or were you people all hypnotized with the way that he talks? Never heard a guy wwith such a limited vocabulary talk as if he’s speaking hard truth as if he’s giving a sermon. Dude you went on trial for murder, you are the poster child for hanging with the wrong crowd can and will change your life or someone else’s life.

Dude get over yourself already !
What are you, some butt 💩hurt Steelers fan or something ? Lewis was one of the best linebackers to ever play the game.💪 He also, was acquitted of any murder charges, because he himself didn't murder anyone !
In case your unaware of what that means in our court system, it means "Not guilty" ! For the remainder of Ray Lewis' life, he worked to help people on and off the field ! 💪
Ray Rice on the other hand "was" extremely guilty of beating up his fiancee, in a drunken stupor ! That was one of the most unfortunate events in his career. As a result he was let go by the Ravens and never played another game after that. Rice also made a decision to change, and has amended his actions, to become a better person.
He married his fiancee, and is a loving father. He has worked with school kids and young college athletes to help bring awareness to them about the pitfalls of bad decision making.
All things Ray is not being paid for. 💜
You, on the other hand, are still slandering someone who was acquitted on charges of a crime that has been over for more than 20 years ! 💥
How about YOU getting a fuckin life ?👌
Maybe one day you'll be able to move out of your Moms basement...

And I don’t give a shit about Ray Lewis helping people the rest of his life doesn’t make up for the company he kept with. He’s an idiot that just likes to hear himself talk. When you dislike Tom Brady so much, b/c he wins, that you can’t acknowledge the best of all time you lose all my respect as an analyst that’s why he’s not on ESPN anymore.

The Miracle .. and now I live in SC .. . Just a few miles from Clemson University .. and how Clemson had their own Miracle .. Winning .. I saw the similarities ... That night in 2013 ... I will never forget .. When everything seemed lost .. and boom .. Flacco to Jacoby ... everyone was so confident The Raven's would lose ... That play will always be considered one of the most miraculous .... A Raven's fan in Clemson SC

You wouldn’t happen to be a raven fan would ya? Jesus Christ man you got some shit standards. A defensive fuck up is the best pass you’ve ever seen. That could’ve very easily been picked off if the safety didn’t fuck up. And it’s very possible that if that pass was picked off or incomplete the ravens wouldn’t have made this stiff the highest paid player in the league who has now been replaced by a an option quarterback. Dude is so nonchalant, zero emotion. It’s hard to follow a guy and leave it all on the field when your quarterback lacks enthusiasm. Perfect example is Tom Brady. He gets so much out of the guys he plays with that they beat more talented teams every week. I think this is one of the only times I seen them actually showing some emotion.

    • @Deborahtunes

This game was better, because it was against a very worthy opponent. Hard fought, during ice cold temperatures in a city well above sea level, which made it even harder. In the other teams' field. That NO ONE thought the Ravens could win... And that 70 yard pass from Flacco was so sweet... I heard the NFL channel announcer say that when Jacobe Jones ran it into the end zone to tie it up 35-35,
*that stadium got so quiet, you could here your breath mist* ...😁🏈
I would arguably say, out of all the play off games they played w/Flacco, this was the best one, because it came down to the wire... And because of all the other reasons I mentioned above...

This was undoubtedly the best Ravens game I have ever watched in my life. More than Superbowl 35 or 47. The anxiety of constantly changing the lead, 5 tie scores in the game, Jacoby Jones and Torrey Smith heroics, Ray Lewis's last season, The final rivalry game between Lewis and Manning, and of course the element of cold weather, altitude disadvantage, and the double overtime made this the best Ravens game I've ever seen. Ever. It will take a lot to ever see a better one.

Now in the year 2020 and still the best Ravens game I've ever seen. Especially being the huge underdogs and shutting down a legendary QB when it mattered most (INT in double overtime)

I've been a Ravens fan since 2005 when the good people of Baltimore took me in knowing that a former Cowboy fan needed a new beginning. My good friend Will took me to several games over the course of 4 years. With Baltimore's finest first responders, we tailgated, we after partied and I made new friends. I've never known better fans in my life. I've since moved away, but I didn't move on. I celebrated the Broncos win and the Super Bowl here in Austin Texas and remain loyal to this day. Go RAVENS! Thank you for all the memories.

This was Tucker’s rookie season so we didn’t realize it was the GOAT trotting out there to try to win it. Nowadays, we’d see JT walking on to the field for the game-winner and yawn: “OK, game’s over; what else is on?”

I saw this game live at Mile High Stadium with only two other Ravens fans. We were heckled, booed at, yelled at, and cursed at in a crowd of orange. I have never seen a stadium get so quiet after a game tying touchdown and Double Overtime game winning field goal. I will never forget this game. One of our defining moments in franchise and NFL history. GO RAVENS!
