Great to see some professional input on the lvx. Picking mine up this week with the BA Bowstrings powerup kit preinstalled per my request. Cant wait to set it up and get it out on the water
You don't need a roller guide. They installed the strings backwards from the factory. I've got a quarter inch between the strings after I properly strung the bow. Now I just need to get the limbs to stop twisting.
Did your outboards seem twisted and canted? This is my second bow they've sent me and nothing seems lined up. Is there anything that can be done about this? Thanks
I'm really interested in these bows coming from a screaming eagle to traditional and now looking at the lever type bows how would this bow be for a do all. And by do all I mean bow fishing and deer hunting I've never seen anyone comment of hunting with one. Fyi my traditional hunting bows is only 45-55lb depending on the bow I choose
I would definitely stay away from this particular model for hunting, this is a great bowfishing option but if you are looking at a “do all” I’d go with an Oneida Phoenix or even the Osprey
Any particular reason you say you'd stay away from an LVX for Deer hunting? I bought one and was planning on it being a Do all bow for me, and then I came across this video and saw your comment
@@Fifer1758 I see no reason why I won't do it all. I ordered one with the b.a.bowstrings power kit and shooting cheap carbon arrows it has plenty enough speed imo and is very accurate with the power kit it's about 55lb draw and 30" draw
We may do a shooting video, but it will more than likely be when we go bowfishing. We tested it on some fish the other night and it did really well! For bowhunting, it has the noise that all lever bows have, but for 3D it should be fine, poundage is 25-50.
I just used mine today and it shoots pretty loud, I was kind of disappointed in that. Any tips on fixing that? Also, what brand finger savers do you use??
I enjoy your videos bought a offsprey left handed bow from amazon shipped from you I believe I’m in the process of sending it back bc I Received a right handed bow instead of a left as of now it claims you do still have one more oh Naida medium drawl length left handed bow in stock? If not what is your opinion on lvx
I use a shoot through rod for the simple fact that the reels are not designed to have that kind of side force on it. It helps the reel work in the way it was designed to. I want one of these bows as a back up but I’m still hearing horror stories about them. Please tell me what I’m hearing is wrong and they’ve fixed the issues they’ve had for almost two years now. The stories I’m hearing are outboards are cracked or twisted from the factory. The cables are twisted from the factory. One local shop had stripped limb bolts on the first shipment. Also what roller guide is that?
We’ve sold several and have not seen any issues. That’s not to say someone hasn’t had any problems, but you only here when people have an issue never when it’s all good. The roller guide is a top point archery.

have you heard of the almost exact same bow as the Muzzy by a company called Junxing model number F164? Tell me if it is the same as Muzzy or not.

The customer ordered a top point archery roller slide. We don’t stock them but he wanted the green color. We do keep the PSE roller slide in stock.
