What's interesting about this generation of Nintendogs is they use the front facing camera. It's used for dogs to remember their owners face is and if a stranger is holding the 3ds some dogs may act differently depending on their personalities.
i just bought nintendogs lab and friends from ebay (my fav from childhood) and i’m literally so excited i can’t wait for it to get here :) also it’s so cute that you cared for the abandoned pets before you “rehomed” them to be able to get your own, love it!
I recently went back to my copy of Nintendogs + Cats (I have the golden retriever version) and I had a lil black pug called Batman. I feel so bad about not playing for so long.
I bought 2 used/refurbished copies (golden retriever and French bulldog, they were the only ones I could find) and I loved the previous owner's pets! Sadly, I had to reset the games, since one was a gift and ik the ones on my copy wouldn't listen to me

I lost my copy a while ago. 😥 (I had the French Bulldog version). I had got a copy for my friend and I hope I can find my copy so we can play together!
Nintendogs + Cats would suck on the switch, let's be honest. Though it would be awesome, the Switch doesn't have a built in mic so you wouldn't be able to teach then tricks or their names. It would just be another Little Friends (version on Switch currently) and that's definitely not wanted.

I’m trying so hard to realize that these animals are just computers, but they feel so real it makes me want my dog.
Used nintendogs games are the best cuz everything is already unlocked for you. Ooh I use to have that fall animal crossing background on my 3ds.
