Lots of commitment and hard work, love for the wife and family,trust, providing a stable home, making sure family is fed and taken care of, vision and promise of the future for whole family, leadership, sacrifice, understanding and lots more. At the risk of seeming naive.. What does the man actually gain from all this endevour and toil? I ask that question not with spite but an attempt to gain wisdom, as more young men seem to shy away from true commitment coz no one explains to them what value is there for them, they are only told what they have to give, provide, and behave to be considered 'worthy men'
