🌙 ABOUT ME 🌙
Hi! My name is Alice and I love books! I read just about everything from classics to contemporary fiction to all kinds of non-fiction, and love reviewing, recommending and just generally having a chat about literature. I currently live in Oslo, Norway.

your hair! stunning! 😇
The sound of books being dragged off the shelf is so cozy
Since you seem to love Agatha Christie (I do too!), you should really give Anthony Horowitz a try - Magpie Murders is fantastic (there's a sequel, Moonflower Murders), and he has a 3 (soon to be 4) book series where he wrote himself into the mysteries. First book is "The Word is Murder". The mysteries are fairly well done and remind me of Agatha Christie in the modern era. I've never been disappointed reading his books.
Also, if you like Phryne Fisher, have you tried the tv show? Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries - I loved it!
Love Phryne Fisher! Learn so much about Australia while reading, too.
I love your weakness for pretty covers
So many awesome books. I love the Phryne Fisher series, you need to read The Sweetness of the Pie by Alan Bradley, you will really like it.
I love reading middle grade but I am a sucker for buying them because of the covers too-and sometimes they have illustrations too which is extra exciting.
Really love the variety on your shelves.
Loved these videos 🥰🥰🙏🙏
The book by André Bjerke just got translated into English! It came out last February, the publisher is Valancourt International
Thanks for sharing! A fun look.
Actually De Dödes Tjern is available in english it's called The Lake of the Dead, it was released earlier this year. Also the english cover is really good.
Came here to say this! So excited to see this. I might try to read some bits of the original too if I can get hold of it - been learnin Norwegian for a while now and need ways to improve my reading.
@@YasmeenKhan I have a copy that I bought through Valancourt. The US cover is stunning.
As always: love your bookshelf tours! I actually just got my first Billy shelves - do you find that they hold up well being so fully packed? Or do the shelves bend? (aka me wanting to know if I have to limit my bookbuying to protect my shelves :D )
i feel u with "hands in water" vibes haha shame that one isn't translated. love how u recognise the Over the Edge as a book that opened "doors and windows" for you
I've been looking forward to this
I'm curious about one thing, you have a lot of books with the greatest covers ever, so I wonder, do you usually buy books just for the covers to give it a try? (sometimes it works a lot to me! but not everytime, for sure...)
Im going to be starting Agatha Christie books next month! Very excited for it
So many amazing and beautiful books! The starless Sea is my favourite book I’ve read this year so I can only highly recommend it 😁
Been really enjoying the bookshelf tours! I saw that there actually is a follow-up to the graphic novel Sheets; it is called Delicates and was published last year.
I love your bookshelves! Where did you get them from?
