NO BOOK DOES ENEMIES TO LOVERS LIKE THE CRUEL PRINCE!! i genuinely have not read a romance subplot like them and i feel like i can never find any romance in that trope that makes me like they do. the angst, the hate but not one sided, the yearning AHHH. but also the plot and characterisation esp of jude is amazing. when i first read the series i was meh on the first book but recently i reread the series AND I ADORE THE FIRST BOOK NOW. so so good honestly after you understand all the characters and where the plot goes
read falling kingdoms. its the best enemies to lovers but its super slow its like 5 books i believe
the bridge kingdom is also a great ACTUAL enemies to lovers adult fantasy
I just finished the series and it was such a rollercoaster for me, a part of me just wishes there was at least a bit more romance ksjgnskj

Percy Jackson is what got me into reading. The fandom was huge a couple years ago, but I think it’s dwindled down since Rick isn’t producing as many books anymore. But anyway, it definitely gets better in the third book.
Actually it’s getting reactive again. A new Disney plus adaptation is coming for Percy Jackson, there’s a new Nico di Angelo book coming in may, and a new original trio book coming in September!

Haley! So i have watched you and your vlogs on and off for the last couple of years and so your reading channel was always popping up on my feed. This year I graduated college and so I wanted to get back into fun reading. My first series was the Cruel Prince Series and then the Vow of Thieves and your channel has been my go to for my next book recommendations! Thank you for your channel and I really enjoyed going back over all your books this year with you!

I literally finished The Queen of Nothing on the 30th of December (I devoured the series in like a week) and I literally felt hollow afterwards because I'd been so consumed by the plot that I didn't know what else to do with myself
SAME AF we went through it together :') The way I've been looking all over the internet searching for crumbs of Cruel Prince content cuz I don't feel complete and need MORE

I read (listened to) all of Caraval last year but for me the first book was my top favorite in the series 😆 I can't wait for this new one, it'll probably be one of the first books I finish in 2023 (I read like 5 books simultaneously, mood reader that I am). Ahhh this is such a great mix of books!! I got the Lord of the rings and the hobbit series for Christmas and I'm so excited to read! I also got Alone with you in the Either and I'm excited to read! I only got to 18 books last year but this year I'm definitely reaching me goal of 50!!

One of my top reads in 2022 is definetly Ballad of Never After by Stephanie Garber 😊 I'm a fan of hers since Caraval but for some reason OUABH did not click that much with me, and the ending just put me off but I'm so glad I continued the series because I liked Ballad so much better 😭 I'm so excited to read the last book omg

I read 13 books in the past month and I am currently reading the twisted series (it's okayish), the inheritance games, and the spanish love deception. I also bought the Caraval series because of you!

Dance of Thieves Duology and Better than the Movies were my favorite books I read this year. I will never stop recommending them.
In 2023, you should definitely read the House of Salt and Sorrows!! It is very haunting but in a not too scary way. One of the most unique books I’ve read!! Your videos have definitely helped me through my reading slump💕

The third/last book in the Anna and the French Kiss series is the best! (Wayyyy better than the first book). It’s called Isla and the Happily Ever After. You can read it as a stand alone (even tho there’s a chapter with characters from the second book (which is okay), it doesn’t change the plot) and it’s SO GOOD!!! Def recommend even tho the first book sucks and the second one is okay.💀
It's funny that your favourite books in the Inheritance Games series were book one and two, while mine were one and three. The second one made me feel like it wasn't major enough like it isn't necessary for the hole story and I would like for it to be the first one and the third one as a series😅 It shows that maybe it's actually good that we got three books so there's place for everyone's favourites😂 Great video! ❤️ I recently bought "Better than the movies" because of your recommendation and it's on my TBR for 2023, I can't wait to read it!🥰 greetings from Poland❤️
I think the reason why a lot of people didn't like 'The Final Gambit' is because it's the last book of such a great series, it has a lot to live up to. I personally really liked it (even the second time that I was reading it this year after hearing a lot of comments that it was not that good, I wanted to see if I really liked it that much and I did, idk if that makes any sense 😂), but because it is an ending (for now) everyone was expecting something beyond great.
@@silvia_ia_georgieva I'm happy that you also liked it🥰 and yes I think that it totally makes sense, it might be the problem/ reason for all these mixed reactions. All this expectations and everyone having their own vision for the future of their favourite characters probably didn't help😂
Haley I think you would love the Remnant Chronicles!! The first book is called A Kiss of Deception and it’s in the same universe as Dance of Thieves!! It’s such a good series with world building and different povs!!

I read the Legend series when I was in middle school, and I actually got to meet Marie Lu at a local bookstore. I haven’t read it since then, but I recommend giving it another try. The second book of the series is so much better than the first. The writing is a little simple, but the plot is good
