The timeline placement is either before A Link to the Past or after A Link Between Worlds. Oh! Alternatively, it takes place between A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds as after the events of the game, the Still World evolves into Lorule using the power of the Tris.
Great job with the story! You have an engaging voice and made a good summary. Consider weaving your analysis and thoughts about the characters and themes into the story as you tell it. I thought you had some good insights, but it was like getting a second summary after the first one. I think the story would be even better with your insights throughout. Definitely going to check out your other videos. Great stuff!
I recently beat the game and got all the things. But this video explained the game in such in such a great way it made me feel like I played it all over! I cant recommend this this video more! Thank you for doing such a good job.
Short Addition: The Ganon Encounter Mid Game is like you said not the real Ganon - unlike in the Beginning apparently, Tri was confused because Link actually defeated him, but then he senses that from THIS Ganon in particular comes the same energy as from the echoes that Zelda creates, which wasnt the case the Previous Ganon slain by Link. Considering Ganon was a Mindless Brute after the failed Resurection Ritual in the Oracle Games, he was basically mindless enough that someone else could use their mind to enter his body and control him. If a mere Mortal Mage like Yuga could do that, then I bet anyone would - especially Null. So basically the Ganon in the Beginning was with a high possibility posessed by Null, which might explain why he came from a rift and why he is destroying the world instead of ruling it.
9:34 I don’t think that’s the possessed king and advisors- those are echoes, completely fake copies like the ones Zelda creates. The real king and advisors are in the still world, slowly fading away until rescued. This means Ganon is somewhere in there too, as that’s obviously an echo Link and Zelda fight. This is a big loose end actually. Where is Ganon? I honestly thought we’d see him in the last dungeon- maybe even have a team up for the last dungeon/boss- all 3 triforce bearers together! Alas, Ganon is completely absent.
My Guess about Ganon is: Tri only sensed the Echo Energy from THIS Ganon we fight mid-game. Meaning the Real Ganon was defeated by Link and the Real one was probably brainwashed by Null so he could control him as an Avatar, and after Mindless Brainwashed Ganon died, Null decided to absorb him to make an Echo.
I'd like to think that this game either converges the timelines, or leads to the game that converges the timeline. The void is the space between the three timelines. Ganon found out about the void and either purposely or accidently woke up Null. After Null is defeated and the rifts are healed, the void between timelines start to shrink. Eventually that converges the timelines and leads to BotW and TotK.
@storieswithcookie You did a phenomenal job, and fwiw Nintendo agrees it's funny. My favorite scene in the whole game is at the end where Link says something and everyone else goes *surprised Pikachu face* complete with whacky sound effect. I saved a video and then died laughing.
You know what I just thought of, maybe all time lines are ment to merge into one as BotW shows, I could be because of Demises curse that ensures the same date, regardless of any time manipulation, it can split but it will merge again far into the future, because it Echos of Wisdom seems to be a merge timeline of child timeline and fallen timeline! So it could be after Zelda 1 and before BotW..
I enjoy this game, but there’s a problem that I would like the people of Grezzo and Nintendo to fix. Why did they not plan on putting ANY accessibility features in this game or even consider adding them in subsequent updates? Because that’s just really f**ked up for me and other gamers who have disabilities. The music from this game is so remarkable though.
I was honestly quite impressed with this game's storyline. Coincidentally, I went to the goddess shrines in a different order that felt a bit more appropriate pacing-wise imo. Eldin Volcano -> Faron Wetlands -> Mount Lanayru
I mean I would be mad if three random people came into my home doing what they want. And would it hurt Nintendo to call it the Tri force the name of the tringle.
42:01 Ah, the colonialism of the goddesses. Just popping in with their ideas of how existence should be and forcing out the indigenous void. How dare he defy them!

What was your favorite quest? Where do you think this game fits in the timeline?

Zelda: goodbye Tri. Thank you for giving me the courage and wisdom... to Try.
😆 Tri was so helpful
Aw that's sweet, funny and a bit sad.

That means so much, thank you!! 😊❤️

Interesting observation, thank you for sharing!

Yeah they’re copies, not possessed. It just seemed fun to say they have possedness behind their eyes 😂 and good point about Ganon!

That’s such an interesting theory!
Headcanon accepted! 😁
Omg absolutely amazing loved this ❤❤❤ zelda definitely needs more love. Thank you 😊
Thank you! Love having you here 😊❤️
Condé was my favourite
He was so pitiful and sweet 😭
Zelda in this game is not mute or silent protagonist. just there is no dialog box when she speaks.
Came here to say this. She spends a LOT of time explaining to everyone what is going on.
@@Sparlock42 came here to reply this. I watchthe WHOLE video and I like the recap and have a better understanding of the game.
Thank you 😊 and yeah it just seems to be a running joke that Link is mute, so it seemed fun to point that out here

Link and Zelda aren’t mute. They don’t talk bc they’re supposed to represent you as the player like Elden ring…

3:22 You didn't mention Adventure of Link.
She said "the original Zelda Games" only Zelda 1 was pictured but adventure of Link is technically included in that
Edit: spelling
I didn't hear minish cap mentioned either

Ah interesting, I can see that!
I also really enjoyed the Stilled Hyrule Castle segment and finding Impa's journal in the prison cell we had previously escaped from
I mean I would be mad if three random people came into my home doing what they want. And would it hurt Nintendo to call it the Tri force the name of the tringle.
The triforce has always had multiple names throughout the series, so that's a bit of an odd complaint imo
Nintendo has botw and totk as their own timeline
Is this AI? 🤔
This voice sounds very familiar. Is this a content farm??? If not my bad. This just seems almost uncanny.😮
That’s a first! Who else sounds like me? Now I want to know lol
