Snowdonia hike from Beddgelert with raging river

- This hike takes you from Nantmor to Beddgelert in North Wales Snowdonia national park, Eryri.
The fishermans walk takes you along part of the Snowdonia slate trail, next to the Afon Glasyn.
The route is fairly easy in most parts but, the section near Nantmor is particularly challenging if the rocks are wet, and if the river level is high, that can really add to the drama!
As you can see, Sarah isn't a swimmer and finds parts of this route extremely challenging but she battled on for the sake of a pizza at the end!!
To start the route we walked, park at the National Trust carpark in Nantmor and simply follow the river north.

A great video guys. Wales has some amazing scenery. Guess that's the trade off for being so wet at times. Wow you were lucky with your phone. If that had been me it would be long gone.
Wales has SO much to offer, we’ve promised ourselves we’ll visit more often.
I was really lucky, had to work for it though, searching through thick bracken whilst trying not to fall into the river 😄

Beddgelert is beautiful 😍 we are sorry our time there didn't work out last year. We went to Gelerts grave and decided there to leave the site we were at 😂.

Not too far from the cottage guys. Tell me it's not the cottage you're buying?! It'll need a few licks of paint. And, the driveway may need weeding! Ruth always gets upset when she hears the story about poor old Gelert. Great vlog both, catch up with you soon.

It was just one of many options we’re looking at, lovely cottage on the river.
And, we’ve since found out (apparently) a hotel owner made up the story years ago to attract visitors to the area 😄😄
There won't be any shortages of great places to chose from in NW. It's a lovely part of the country. What? Made up the story about Gelert? WTF! I'm not sure if Ruth will be pleased or not. She'll never get those days of grieving back. 😆
