Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man Pinball is up and running as it should, so it's time for some gameplay footage. Mr. and Mrs. Pac-Man Pinball was created by Bally in 1982.
Back in 1982 my local arcade brought one of these machines in. I wan't fond of it at first, probably because I wasn't a fan of the Pac-Man video game, but when I saw how easy it was to win free games it became one of my instant favorites. I will admit the arcade had it set up in an easy mode. You won a free game every time you completed a maze. The ghost would chase after you in the maze but not that aggressively, so it was fairly easy to complete. On top of that they installed a one-way gate just to the right of the right flipper so you could trap the ball on the right flipper without having to worry about it draining. I got so good at this game that I would put in one quarter, rack up enough free games that I'd let one of my buddies take over while I went off to play video games. Then about the time they would blow through all of the games I had racked up I'd come back and run it up again. We'd play all day on one quarter!! Those were great days!
At first glance this pinball machine struck me as a desperate attempt to stay relevant with the video game crowd; however, after watching your video the gameplay became clearer and now I think it's actually a clever concept. The cabinet looks nice as well. Good video, thx for sharing

I once refurbished one of these. it a very cool game . the maze bit is pretty well done. the only problem with mine is that the voices sounded like crap, and you could barely hear him say Go to the pacman saucer
Yeah, that's where I'm at now. I already claimed one of the 3 bedrooms as my "collection room" and the living room TV has 18 consoles connected to it. Wouldn't it be nice to win the lottery?
