I play the virtual table on my iPhone and it was a real treat to see the actual table- Zaccaria made some great games - IMHO the 70's - 80's was the best period for pinball designs.
Just realized I hadn't checked out the solid state section of Zaccaria on Steam. Found out that's where the good models of Zaccaria's tables are housed. Time Machine definitely behaves as the physical one does, for the most part. One thing I've noticed all their tables have in common, is the splashes of vibrant colours, in the lighting, play field, and back glass, not to mention the side art. Gorgeous machines. I don't think any made it to this state, though. I'm only just now, being made aware of them, through these TH-cam vids, and the emulators. Again, thanks for sharing this.
Man, that table is so beautiful. I wish the backplate lit up like that in VR. (Maybe it does and my graphics settings are too low. Haha.) I love the LED additions! This is for sure a table I'd love owning. I was playing this table last night for at least an hour or two and it's so fun trying to balance getting points in the past/future and trying to hit the targets. I see what you mean now about hitting the ramp. You really need a lot of momentum. My problem is just getting the angle right. Haha.
I owned one of these back in the day, even picked up a spare playfield full of spare parts. Game was Sloooow. But it was my first pinball machine. replaced it with a DE Checkpoint.
Cool quite a different game from the Pacman one, which is good gives you a nice variety to play with. Now just have to figure out teleportation so I can come over for a game :)
Very cool game. It seems real easy though have these outlanes that you have to practically try to go through and you won't loose a ball through the flippers because the blue ones prevent that from happening.
Hey Nice machine :) i am slowly restoring one myself and need a little help. I recently rebuilt the power supply and MPU so now its working but it seems the machine doesn't play right. On start up the middle playfield stays down or sometimes will come up. It understands what mode its in with sound pcb so not sure really what is causing this.
My interest in pinball is more of a casual type, so please forgive me if this a stupid question, but did Zaccaria ever sell any of these in the US? It seems very fun and colorful, so it would be a shame if nobody on this side of the pond got to experience it.
They've sent a few to the U.S.; I've played Pinball Champ, Devil Riders and Magic Castle over in Ames, IA at various times. Like Playmatic and Segasa/Sonic, Zaccaria seemed to have a brief export spurt which came and went for whatever reason. Which is too bad as they all had some worthy games.
Man, when seeing this & playing the Zaccaria Pinball game, it's unbelievable how good the digital version is reproduced!

If you like this Zaccaria machine, you should try and play Farfalla. It's ultra-psychedelic and loads of fun to play. :)

a lot (videogame) pinball games have tutorials that give you a good overview of objectives (Williams Pinball collection, Pinball Arcade, etc)
I actually never knew they made real tables. I thought it was just the Steam software. 😂
They were once the largest producer of pinballs in Europe and the third largest worldwide.
