Haya. Wow, your skirt is lovely & the fabric is gorgeous. I can relate to the dropped shoulder thing, I have to make alterations each time I make a garment top 🪡Your white shirt is beautiful, loving the detailing it has 💙Thanku 'sew' much for sharing, have a great week 🧵✂
All your makes are beautiful, especially the Genoa skirt. I think the tops are all lovely with it, but I like the pink/purple one best because it’s not so long and gives beautiful proportions. The free skirt pattern by Little Lizard King, the Everyday Play Skirt, is great for using up scraps. I’ve made it for my granddaughter and she loves it. Used soft elastic for the waist and put cotton lace along the hem.
Hi Deb I love the jumpsuit. Never too old ..and it looks great on you. I made a “play suit” but haven’t worn it yet.. Thanks for showing your makes I enjoy watching 😀👏
Thanks so much for sharing Deb. I've been contemplating a bias cut skirt but was having the same reservations that you mentioned. You've encouraged me to give it a go!
Hi. I love your skirt. I'm also looking forward to seeing how your Joliette skirt works out. I hope you enjoy the pattern. Thanks so much for the shout out. You made my day.❤❤
Hi Deb I love your new skirt, and I think the dark colour tops make the fabric look extra special. Your productivity and the care you take continues to impress. Best wishes Anne
Love the skirt. I think all the tops look really nice with it. I quite like the shorter T's with the skirt. They don't look short at all. It would be better if you could just leave the photos up for a few seconds longer please.
I thought Kristen's Genoa skirt looked lovely so I bought the pattern too. I am a little larger than both of you so I hope it works it's magic on me too! Yours looks really great.
Love your Genoa skirt! I feel all of these tops look great with this skirt, depending on your need or mood - probably favouring the pink - although it was a bit Blink or Miss it with your vision😅.
Hi Deb, I loved all your makes ! I thought the same thing I couldn’t possibly wear a bias cut skirt as it would cling in all the wrong places. Yours and Kristen’s skirts are fabulous,, the fabric on yours is gorgeous , very modern and chic ! I do like it with the black top too. I went and checked the finished measurements and they don’t look overly large , but I might make a muslin to check. Is the cable knit from spotlight? I have something similar in a rust colour , Bridget R
Hi Bridget, yes I would recommend a muslin for the skirt, I also thought a bias cut skirt was only for the very slim, but it seems not as I am far from slim and I’m old as well. The cable knit is from spotlight, not usually a colour I wear but would probably wear a black polo neck under the cardigan, have you made the Blackwood cardigan? Thanks Deb🪡🧵💕
@@dbdesignsandsewingaustrali5668 I have made the Blackwood cardigan, I have the long version in a cotton knit and the short one in a knit jersey. I’m not really happy with either version , mainly due to my fabric choices. Ive been thinking of using the cable knit to make one, I’ve done the pattern adjustments, round back and sway back . So it shouldn’t take long to whip it up , I’m wondering if it will turn out huge in this knit . I’ll try it and see.
Hi deb I think the pink and the short black tops both look lovely with the skirt and colour ,I have the same colour rib as you it does grow a lot the Nina cardigan by style arc is the pattern I am thinking about making ,hope you love the material in the bespoke box ❤
Thanks Dawn , yes the black rib I have does grow a lot, I have stopped hanging it up and fold it now. When I look at the photos I do like the pink also

Thand you for your input. The skirt looks fabulous. I think the rayon would looke great in the Armidale dress.
Thanks Michele, I do love the Armidale dress
!!ove the blue rayon from Spotlight Deb, such a gorgous colour. And no, you are not the only one who hasn't made the Blackwood Cardy 🙆♀️🤣
Hi Catherine, I just had to buy that rayon when I saw it🤣
