Wow, thank you for this very helpful video! My favourite palette is Vega which I use on a daily basis. Lisa's shadows are so good, long lasting and no fallout. I ordered Ione, the silvery luminous and the darkest matte as I am really cool toned. I would be interested in a comparison of the Fawn and the Vega palette. I feel Fawn (as a complete palette) would be too warm for me.
Fantastic informative video. Looks beautiful! Also love your hair band! Was not expecting to want the liquid eyeshadows as I have a few from Bare Minerals that I have seldom used, but these do seem exceptional and so have popped 4 of them in my basket with the palette. Love the look of Irene and Ione. I could have sat and listened about Greek mythology for hours. Love mythology, legends folklore and history too, so names right up my street. My grandma was called Irene. My degrees were World Religions and Spirituality, I studied both ancient and modern cultures and Theology. Seems a long time ago as I'm 50 odd. Haha! I've used the Merit brush to blend the Ione Liquid Silk eyeshadow and then for the crease I've used the Rephr concealer brush because it seemed that there was too much pigmentation for my liking and I had to spread it out quickly, before it dried out. A learning process, but I really like it. 😘
I was thrilled when I saw that you had these. And your presentation changed my opinion from my first views yesterday. I did prefer Ione and still do. But I thought Fawn was strangely boring. Was I ever wrong! Fawn is absolutely gorgeous. And so wearable. They are classified as "historical fiction" because she added some dialogue and descriptive color. But her scholarship is sound. Have you heard of them or even read them? I thought they were excellent, and I don't praise novels easily. So curious because you mentioned your interest in ancient history and mythology. I love mythology and stories about the ancient gods and goddesses too. Any books you can recommend about them would be welcome. Again you were first to review this makeup. I decided on a low-buy fall, but I may need that palette.💚
I thought this palette would be a little less exciting to be honest with you, but I think it is insanely beautiful and so much more than I thought it would be. It can be a simple look but it can also be turned into such a glamorous look I think this palette is genius to be honest. History is such a huge passion of mine and I do still take a big interest but in all honesty after years of studying it and years of reading historical fiction and factual books I switched to thrillers and psychological thrillers and I’m hooked on those lately. Although they aren’t exactly relaxing! But then history isn’t either ha ha! I think you will love Fawn if you get it ❤️
@@hanbeauty101 I like thrillers too. I also enjoy a couple of authors who have written a slew of books about genius misfit cops who don't always follow the rules. Crime solving stories with character development starring the same protagonists throughout. One writer has over 30 best selling novels to his name, so far, featuring the same guy. They are quick reads, intelligently written, with some dry humor. I devour every one released. It makes sense that you have had a surfeit of history.
The Ione is so interesting. I probably will go back and pick that up. I did get the palette. It just called to me such beautiful versatile shades. I will get a lot of use from these I think.

I’ve been looking for a high-end liquid eyeshadow in ivory or champagne that is a MATTE. The only thing I ever find are champagne, shimmer, and liquid eyeshadows, but not in a matte. I really like liquid eyeshadows because they do not move and they will last until you actually remove them… They are better than any powder or cream in my opinion as far as longevity… But again, I cannot get the color for which is that matte Ivory. I have a bunch of eyeshadow sticks in the ivory colors colors. They’re mostly shimmer and they don’t last like a liquid.
I think Armani reformulated twice. The first reformulation didn’t cut it for me as it didn’t last all day as the original did. I haven’t tried their latest. I’m looking forward to trying these when I next need to replace my current product. Let us know if they last all day!
Did you happen to test the longevity of the liquids? These remind me of Merit shadows but the Merit really let me down and creased in 20 minutes, I'm looking for something I could just throw on, by itself, no primer or topper and have it last the entire workday - do you think that is a realistic expectation for them? I can always have things last a long time on arm swatches, but on my lids it's a whole different story - I don't have oil on my arms lol.

They lasted all day, stayed on my hand after multiple hand washes, I had to scrub my hand with makeup remover! ❤️
Can you do a video applying the fawn palette without a base I usually just apply concealer powder before eye shadow that would be a great help
