This appears to be a super simple machine and with only 4 bolts for assembly is amazing. My first concern was exactly what you are trying to demonstrate by only loading one side. I would also think by connecting the cable to the front of the sliding mechanism ( as opposed to connecting the cable directly over the center of the weight ) would cock / jam the mechanism into the post causing a lot of drag. By the sound it seems the motion it's not affected by the off center pull or side loading one plate. A very simple and well thought out machine that fits in tight spaces. SWEET!!!!!
I got mine put together in 15mins the trick was holding it together while trying to tighten the bolts. The weight is heavy and the smoothness of it is impressive. I love it.
Not a stupid question. Many companies show pictures with added equipment and it's not included. To answer your question, it does come with the lat pulldown bar. It's an amazing piece for home gym or commercial. The guides are the most impressive part. The smoothness of the pull is surprising. Our cable machine isn't even that smooth.
@@joeymartinezi8827 I wanted to ask you how’s the smoothest of each pull compared to a selectorized one? I see that the plate section is going to be pulling on the pole which has paint on it and I don’t see it been lubricated.
This is on my list for whenever I lose enough weight or I get strong enough so that I need the leg rollers. Right now I'm heavy enough that my shitty Titan pulley tower works with me just sitting on a bench for doing Lat Pull Downs.
I love my EFTS pulldown I got awhile back BUT the manufacturer writes on the back of the cushion material with a marker that bleeds through over time. I now have “scott….” and measurements bled through in all the pads. Pretty annoying
I don’t know if you guys read this but I really think it would be a cool feature if you could put a way to hook resistance bands on it. I know you could put bands on the bottom but that would be a nice feature
Thank you for the insight. A more fair comparison would be to also consider the amount of free content they offer on their website and social media channels. When you support us you also support all the content you see from us, thus not only helping yourself but all others who benefit from the content we produce and have produced since 1998. While price may be the only thing you are concerned about their are many others who want to support American made goods and content that can help all those who may not be able to hire coaches. When you support us you support our ability to help them. We understand your point but it’s short sided because it doesn’t consider these points. Different people value different things and that’s a great thing. While we are not the biggest equipment company (obviously), we do care about your training success more than everyone else combined and have 23 years and over a million pages of free content to support that.
@@eliteftsofficial not being a jerk but nobody is considering all that stuff, they just want the best product for the least money. Honestly I went and got a credit card out of my wallet while I was watching this review but no one said the cost then I saw this comment and I put my credit card back in my wallet. I love the product but $1600 closed my mind. I already have a functional trainer but want a stand alone lat pulldown but like this gentleman said, I can get selectorized for that kind of money. Honestly still thinking but the sky is gray
@@eliteftsofficial I'm not a jerk just telling U what most not all people think. I find the ones where the weight feels heavy af are the best. Not the ones that are machined to be easier
You should buy ours
Buy it and review it for us!
It's a 1:1 machine, what are you talking about? The only way to make it feel heavier is if your pulleys are rusted out
It's worth every penny man. You won't be disappointed.
If I could buy this right now I wouldn't hesitate for a single moment.

Dumb question but does it come with the latpulldown Bar?
How are you liking it so far?

i don't have elitefts money. i like to watch the equipment videos because it's like window shopping lol.
There has to be a way to connect the seat leg pads to the cable , adding a seated calve excercise , would be awesome for next version
Thought of that looking at a seated calf raise. Surprised no one has tried
A simple wood platform would allow you to turn the low row cable into a belt squat, where you could do all the calf raises you want.
I here I was thinking y'all were going to show me the "you tube snap" trick... dang it boy! Merry Christmas to all the Elite crew and their families!
The way the low row connects in front over the pad , just curious if it rubs on the pad at all while in use ? I noticed no low row motion was shown

Yeah that's pretty common it is gym equipment
We would never dream of claiming any of you would be biased.
Aww thanks
I have one, and yes it is. Wondering... how much does slider weigh? Mine came practically assembled, so I couldn't weigh
But does it work with 35lb plates?
Sorry if I missed it, but is it a 1:1 ratio on the pull? Is OD green possible if i place a special order?
Awesome piece!

Their Signature Plate loaded lat pulldown has them. It's basically just a couple holes drilled through the bottom for band pegs.
Wife and kids got me the American Cambered Neutral Grip bar!!!!!
Do you have store pickup options? I know you were located in London, Ohio. Wanted to see if that's still the case.
Yes we do! Just give us a call or stop in! 740.845.0987
Beats selectorized by a good amount. Smooth action and you know the actual weight in use :)
Just to say Merry Christmas to you all. George. Glasgow. Scotland.
Just received mine it’s awesome
Do you guys offer just the plate loaded part for custom order?
Very nice 🔥 Can you attach bands to it?
Great looking piece of equipment
It'd be cool to have a single plate loaded cable stack with a removable seat.
Look up prime fitness plate loaded single stack they come with a seat
What would it cost to ship it to Switzerland?
Elite has a UK distributor, they have a separate Instagram for contact info
Can you accommodate a 6'4 frame ?
absolutely. We can make even larger ones if you need the extra height.
I want it but not sure I can get it down my stairs to my basement
Unbias?
Too expensive for a plate loaded machine in my opinion. For 1,299.00 you can get the TDS selected weight machine. No brainer.
