Thanks for the Sub in any case. I've started reviewing higher end spotters but this is still my go-to scope because it's sharper than most of other scopes I have on the shelf.
I see it absolutely goes according to your cellphone quality as to how well that picture will show up. There’s instruction on how to set up Samsungs for these devices. I see also the looses a bit of quality also if you go out to 60x. I’m wondering if that’s just the phones doing or the lower quality scope as well. It certainly holds it own very well for the cost. And it’s all of a 60x80 scope. I’ve seen lower rated Bushnell optics outperform these newer higher rated optics. But this one I think I will use as my bench mark to run others up against until I find the best one for me. This one could be.

Great review...seems like a great first scope and a true bargain. The one thing you didn't talk about was the chromatic aberration which really showed up on the shot with the pine cones and brances. What is your verdict about how it handles that problem? Is there a way to eliminate that in post production?
Chromatic aberration seems to to show up a lot when I turn a scope toward the pine tree across the street because of the position of the sun when I test in the morning.
