Hey John, great demo, as always. Dwell on reverb is more like Drive, not how long the reverb lasts. As you raise the Dwell, you are pushing more signal into the tank (which does effect the time you can hear the reverb, but also raises the gain of the signal hitting the tank). A main reason why people love outboard reverb units. The level knob is the reverb return mix and the Dwell is the amount of signal sent to the tank. All it is missing is a tone control for the reverb and it mimic the three knob reverb of outboard reverbs.

The amp sounds good from what I hear, and I like that it has 4, 8, and 16 ohm speaker outputs. The reverb sounds very good, and I do like the aesthetic of the design to the amp. We don't need no stinking effects loop though. This isn't a JCM 800, or a high gain amp. Amps are getting more expensive thanks to 2022. It's annoying to see a whole tube driven effect loop added to an amp that doesn't need it, only driving the amp's price up.
Shame Supro moved all the labor to China. I know the previous amps were "assembled" in Port Jefferson (I have a Statesman and a Galaxy, and they're incredibly good amps), at the very least (even if the parts were sourced from China). Now the whole kit and kaboodle is made overseas, and, judging by recent reviews of the "new" Black Magics, etc, the Q&A is definitely suspect. The kicker is that, unlike the previous re-issues, there's nothing on the new lineup of amps that state where they're actually made. Seems the new owners are being a bit duplicitous, and charging Mesa/Victory money for a combo made entirely in China's sketchy as hell.
The only thing they make worth buying is their harmonic trem pedal. It's built well, sounds incredible, and gives you enough of the supro sound to satisfy the itch. You can buy a used mesa 5:25, Suhr hombre, marshall sv 20 head, anything from Fender, a magnatone varsity or a Tone King gremlin for the price of this amp. Too expensive for a Chinese pcb that is guaranteed to have issues sooner than later. Buy a monoprice 15watt and a jhs superbolt, it will last longer.

Sounds unreal. I wish the Black Magick had this amps encasing. Aesthetically this is one of the coolest looking amps.
I think this Supro gives Fender a good run for it's money. The cleans are real nice and the reverb sounds great too. Should be a solid pedal platform.

@@OttoisOhio I didn't like mine. Very dark and lots of noise in the circuits. Tons of bass and low mids you can't EQ out.

That reverberation knob all the way up creates a kinda…whooosshhh sound… which I guess could be good..or not.. but it’s interesting..
They totally ruined this amp by putting the controls on top and backwards. I hate that.
