@cartoonistlouis773 Because Microsoft was buying Rare studios while the game was being developed, forcing them to rush development. The game was intended to be longer, but they had to find a way to wrap up the game quickly, leading to Andross being thrown in as an abrupt ending

It never hit me till now how BRUTAL some of the deaths feel.
Galdon pretty much chokes to death, King Red Eye gets stabbed through the brain, Drakor falls on freaking lava and Scales is seemingly forced to sacrifice himself.

I remember loving this game. The ending made no sense, but that didn't stop the hype I felt. They should have made more Star Fox games like this one
Well, if a Star Fox movie ever gets made, maybe we'll get a Star Fox game that ignores the events of Star Fox Zero.
I can’t imagine if they had time to actually finish the game which would include a battle against scales. Hopefully in a remaster we can get it.
A mixture of science fiction and fantasy. And the Andross battle feels like a mixture of the SNES Star Fox and the N64 version.

To make it more simple to explain the game General Scales was controlled by Andross and since Andross saw Fox with General Scales he took away the last of the Krazoa spirit and use it to fully revive himself once again since he was just a brain and at the beggining Krystal saw him and he was not showned to keep it a mystery

The Test of Fear or that test with Musclefoot? Both of them are real pains in the ass.
Man, both tests remain in my memory as some of the most difficult moments in my gaming experiences, it was very frustrating! Specially the Test of Fear, man, I really really struggled with that shit, I had to convince myself I was a fearless bastard in order to complete pass it! Of course I was 11 at the time so the fearless bastard part didn't stick too long, but anyway, fun game!
I honestly love this game. I think we can agree that if Starfox wasn't in the title, this game wouldn't be hated so much.

Star fox adventures in my opinion had the best bosses than all the other star fox games
IMO, 64 had the best bosses, SNES had the best music, AND SNES also had the best stages, oh also 64 had the best dialogue. I like Adventures though.
All except General Scales' boss fight… it was really disappointing.

Exactly, it would've been nice to go against him in melee combat for at list a little bit before the cutscene! It's especially funny because if you don't take out your staff then the cutscene isn't activated so its just Scales walking into you lmao

Yeah agreed, the fact that they did a bait and switch was a little disappointing. after we spent nearly the entire game pursuing him (all the while trying to save Dinosaur Planet).
Apparently there was originally supposed to be a full-on General Scales fight and that's where Falco was supposed to come back, but with Microsoft acquiring Rare, they basically had to rush-finish the game, and as a result, the General Scales fight was canned for that crappy cutscene.
Very impressive graphics for such an old game!
GameCube had games that really pushed graphics at the time. I remember Super Smash Bros Melee blew my mind the first time I ever saw it!

Apparently in the early stages of the game Drakor was meant to have a much bigger role as the main antagonist, but they deemed it would make the plot too confusing and wrote Andross as the primary antagonist.
Also in my opinion, it would have been better for the player to fight Scales, but as he's lying on the ground dying, he mutters "you will regret this" before releasing the final spirit, making the player wonder what he meant.

Star Fox Adventures. An incredible game. A bad Star Fox game. But man it's easily one of the best games on the Gamecube

Well, when we first started the game, me and my bro, we were like 7-8 years old, I didn't really understand english at the time so I had no freaking idea what I was doing. We did 30-40% of the game.
7 years later I found the game again in my vacation house so I played but I get stuck at the first Volcano Point.
Summer after, I finally understood how to open the door. I played a lot and get until where you are on the big bird and you have to destroy the 4 towers. I gave up.
Last summer, by miracle, I destroyed the towers. I was so ready to beat the crap out of that big lizard and the monkey showed up and beat the crap out of me. And I just decided that I didn't care, I won the game anyway.
So yeah, that's why it took me so long.
Right like i wish we could if kicked his shit in instead of losing to him and then having for fight andross in space in a boring ass airplane.

It took me years to beat this game... But it was worth it, up yours people who didn't like Star Fox Adventures.
It's true that many will crap on this game for dumb reasons, but I think people should be allowed to not like a game.

OMG I did not know Galdon's chest opened up I just kept shooting and it eventually hurt him. I love this game I still have it, im playing through it with my little brother now, but the one part i hate, the test of fear, I eventually almost got it but I think theres something wrong with my brothers Controller Joystick it definitely pushed the way i was not holding down. Your really good at this

Glad to know I’m not the only one who considered Musclefoot as a boss… I had to button mash the crap out of my controller for the time I finally beat him.
Also, I’m so glad to see I am not the only one who would just do weird little spamming dances of the shield while waiting for some bosses. Hahahaha.

it's because the game originally had nothing to do with Star Fox, but was altered to become one after Miyamoto noticed the similarities between Fox McCloud & the original lead character Saber. Krystal was also initially meant to have a larger role, with the ability to swap between her & Saber throughout the game. Can't complain too much though, Krystal is my favorite Star Fox character :P
Well, its also the fact that Andross is the final boss in pretty much EVERY SINGLE StarFox game there is. It’s tradition ya know?

It always bothered me how Galdon and Drakkor have their name spelled before fighting them, but not King Redeye. It seems like he was added late in development.
Also, I didn't remember that Galdon looked that good. The lightning and details are amazing. He could almost pass as a boss from a Xbox360 game.

Damn you fox!!! I'll give you the Krozoa Spirit because a voice I have never heard before and can probably do nothing to me told me to. Yarrrgh!!! I loved the game guys, but after looking back on it now, and watching Cinemasins, I can't help but see the flaws. Like how drakor or the cyborg dragon pretty much came out of nowhere in the story, and how king redeye just stomped around everywhere.
