In this video, join us as we take on an exciting day tubing down a beautiful rainforest River while Pablo enjoys some time at daycare. We’ll also dive into some real van life as we tackle a bit of cleaning in our trusty van-because it’s not all sunshine and waterfalls! But not everything goes as planned! We made a pit stop at what we thought would be an epic waterfall, only to discover we arrived at the worst time. Spoiler alert: it was too hot and way too crowded! 😱 To wrap up our adventure, we find a hidden gem at a new drive-in theatre! 🎥🍿 📅 Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction 01:00 - Recap 02:34 - Doggy Daycare 04:28 - Tubing - Cairns Adventure Group 09:10 - Real Vanlife - Vanlife Chores 14:35 - Emerald Falls / We shouldn't have gone here! 18.32 - Mareebe Drive-in We'd love to hear from you! Poor Pablo, being so thirsty. Perhaps there was water, just too many dogs, and Pablo was too timid to approach it. I love that you are hitting the water a lot, too. There is nothing quite like a lazy river with a bumped bum over the rapids. Pablo and ear infections. Poor little guy. I really love that you have, and are supporting, the outdoor cinema. Great to meet people you are following, and they are following you too. Or is that stalking 😂. Are they doing the big loop, too? Yeah, that hike would be dusty, hot, and with people. I seem to like people as much as you guys. It's getting close to winter over here, so the Peaks will be Insta Bimbo free. I love that that place to empty the loo is called the dump. I don't know if 'having a dump' is used down under, but it did make me laugh. Did you have to wear the helmets on the water as part of the 'safety regulations', or was it optional. A few years ago, we went tubing in the Caribbean, and we didn't have life jackets or skid lids. Just wondered if it was a legal thing. How do they know for certain that there are no crocks? What was the leveé for? In case you legged it with the tube? Bunnings, yay!!! I've missed these visits. Belated Happy Birthday Sandy, how old now? 24? 25? But I do have to ask, how close are we to filming? ie are we a month behind or a couple of weeks behind? How long do you think the big loop will take, and will you go cross country at any time to do things like the sacred rock. Mind you, you can't climb it anymore. Or the other place I've watched a few videos on is the town underground. Will you be going there at all? Thank you for sharing, and I hope you have had a people free, relaxing weekend.
Thank you Chris 😊🙏our new friends are full time travellers and are on an extended big lap 🚐 the safety gear is mandatory for the company to operate on the creek 😀thankfully the helmet saved me from hurting my head on a low branch, The levee is for the company to operate on that section of the creek “ they forget to mention it until you’re on the coach “ 😂 We do intend visiting Uluru on our lap but not until later next year when it’s cooler it gets brutal up there 42C by 11am in summer and they close entry at 40C 😳 Cooper pede is the opal mining town that’s underground , we’ll definitely visit 😀 But first we’re heading to Tasmania for the summer We’re currently 3 weeks ahead on our filming , currently in Brisbane doing a 2 week house sit Back on the road this weekend 🚐🤩
Great video guys. That tubing looks so much fun. I bet it would have been a bit better if it had been a little deeper. It’s great that you met a subscriber too that’s awesome. Glad fo see Pablo is having fun too. An untidy van is a lived in van so it’s just the way real life is. Ours is currently off the road but we always seem to be cleaning it lol. Take care till next week ❤❤
Thanks Roger and Lindsay 😊🙏🚐yep it definitely could have been a little deeper in places to improve the comfort of the ride lol 😂do hope you get your van back up and running in the near future 🤞❤️
Hello Sandy and Tim. Very relaxing tubing. I was wondering about the crocs. Pablo's was sticking his tongue out when you picked him up might of been dehydrated. Nice old school drive in movie. Thank you for sharing have a good day
Tubing looks like a lot of fun there. Haven't done it since I was a kid... and got the worst sunburn I've ever had. Poor Pablo. He might be like our Cassie. When we're away from her she doesn't eat or drink much on the first day. Apparently after that she is fine. Funny how drive-ins used to be everywhere. We used to go heaps. But we haven't been in decades. Apparently there is actually one near us in Melbourne's north, but we haven't been to it. Coburg if you end up passing by. The one we went to heaps when I was a kid was in Wangaratta in NE Vic. Then we moved to Nowra on the NSW South Coast, they had one there too. They're both long gone. I think the last thing I saw at Nowra's Drive In was a live band - Aussie Crawl. 😂 So yeah, yonks ago.
Thanks Shane 🚐🤩🙏we’re doing our best to get to all the last surviving drive ins so will be going on some super random directions to catch them 😂problem is they’re mostly open only on weekends which can throw a spanner in the works 🚐🤦♂️
that tubing looks amazing and relaxing, were you able to see the movie ok from back there, it seemed a long way away to me. Hope Pablo enjoyed his day at day care, cheers

Not a hack …a hint.
Thanks 🤩
Is it possible to float on your own tube on that waterway or do they have an exclusive licence?
River Tubing with Aussie Drifterz
From
$104.00
AUD
Thank you 😊🙏not sure it didn’t seem exclusive to that company and many people were free camping beside that creek and swimming in it 🤩
Hi
Hey Mike 👋😊
