Love the story about the McGwire. Those “Rookie Card” printed top loaders were like gold back the ! Switching your best RCs out depending on the Beckett “Hot/Cold” list
Hey. Big Mac alert! That came quick! I've been havin gfun building old junk sets that I never wrapped up as a kid too. The 87 Topps set is one I'm working on. Would love to compare notes when you're done ripping and see if I could swap you for a few cards that I may be missing.
@@3GoodNerds sounds like a plan. I have a lot of 87 that I bought as part of a lot. I’m sure I’ll have what you’re looking for. Just let me know, I’d be happy to help you complete your set!
Does it take the fun away if I calculate the statistical odds of how many packs it will take the average person to pull a specific card? At retail price, it would have cost $12.80

Congrats on pulling a pack fresh specimen!!
The project 2020 cards are pretty sweet. The red, white, and blue is my favorite, too.
Was meant to be getting your card in your 2 nd pack 👍
The Topps Tiffany McGwire is a banger!!

That’s what I did too. The rookie card top loaders, and the ones with the colored borders.
I am going with lucky number 12. 12 packs to find a McGwire. I also predict you will get a Canseco first!
Well, I missed that one, lol.
are there 7 Topps Mini or O-pee-chee versions of the McGuire?
Want a little bit of a challenge?
How about an 87 topps Mac with a wax stain on the back?

Wait until you calculate the retail cost of finding the base rookie in 1988!!
What was the cost of your 87 box of wax ?
@@RayJohnson-ds8hx the 87 was $59.
