- Man the artwork on the WW Superstars packaging are so boring. Found Ali at Walmart and snatched this figure up right away. It's rare to find any newer figures in this line at stores.

He was also involved in an angle during the 70s with Gorilla Monsoon, where he confronted him in the ring and Gorilla airplane spined & slammed him in the ring. That's kind of a well known moment in 70s pro wrestling.

Wasn't that written years ago, I want to say. Like I remember seeing an image of that.
Also, weirdly enough Ali's headsculpt has a better likeness here than his Legends & Ultimate Edition figures, which skew towards a more realistic representation, imo.
You know it seems sometimes the more realistic they go for the worse it looks. I see that a lot when they try to do hyper realistic head sculpts on toys and dolls. A great example would be the Emma Watson Belle Doll for the live action Beauty and the beast
Cowboy Bob orton is the only figure they have done with boxing gloves so far I know I checked
So there was one before Ali, was in the Superstar line or one of the other lines?
