The most broken aspect of this quest is with elements in - sellemental is 2 triples by itself. Had around 18 triples because they're so prominent as a tier 1 unit.

Imagine being first place, with only one opponent left. Got a golden Baron with a damn-good mech build and you're at 33hp, no way you die here right? Then your opponent shows up with 6 golden minions and 30 seconds later your entire board is dead and you take 47 dmg from 6 megabusters and a Baron. To say that man was probably fuming is an understatement, I'd be surprised if his desk has any solid pieces left.
Yeah this quest reward is crazy. I've gotten over 15 triples in 2 separate games with it. Idk if that's a lot with this quest reward, but it's seems like it might be.
Hey Krip, you do so much nice editing. I was in another HS channel, and saw how they show a graphic of the Hero's Hero Power, so viewers who might not know what it does, can read it. It would be nice to have, e.g. just show the graphic somewhere for a couple of seconds around startup. It helps less experienced people follow along.
Could it have been correct to intentionally be a little weaker earlier to complete the quest sooner? (Maybe stick to one juggler, or skip the buff demon?)

Is it possible Blizzard is only offering it to players with a Battle Pass? Or have I just randomly not gotten it in the 200-ish games I’ve played this patch?
This is a rare quest, but not that rare. And I can debunk your myth. Golden buddy quest requires a very specific thing to happen. Everyone needs to have picked a hero that had a buddy. If that happens, then you have a chance (not an assurance) that it happens. And I know for a fact that it's not linked to the battle pass, as i've gotten it without in EU. And have the video evidence to back it up. If you look up ninaisnoob or pockyplays buddy game on youtube, i'm the Millhouse. But back to lamps. For the hundreds of games i've had this patch, i've had it offered at least 10 times, and passed on some of them due to the insanely high price to get them active, versus the alternatives. Last time I got it was two days ago, as zephyr, making the hero power extremely frugal to use knowing it would be useless when i had it active.
So... add golden selfless and thats the best comp reasonably attainable in the game right? Replace 2nd kangor with another golden buster for max power.
I just had a game with that quest, i was playing murlocks and so did my opponent, i still managed to lose by not finding one poison or divine shield through the game even though i had basically infinite gold while my opponent did
My opponent had George with a full bord of divine should poisonous murlocs. Too bad my 5 golden amalgam with shield and poisonous + 2 nadinas were stronger. This quest is busted when it is
