I hope they take the pause, rewind and fast forward features from backpack battles. After a battle I like analyzing how the build worked and it's tough to do that in real time while it's going

Reynad has promised no pay to win mechanics. It’s gonna have a cosmetic marketplace you can spend money on. You get infinite unranked runs and 1 ranked run a day. To play more ranked runs in a day you have to do well enough to get your ticket back, or you can pay with the in game currency play more ranked runs
@@disc0duckMan, I think the positive spin on this paid for ranked mode is crazy. Time/pay gating a ranked mode only hurts the game in the long run. Especially if there are tournaments based on your rank. Which already normally favor people with the TIME to get to higher ranks but now you’re limiting them by money. How more people aren’t talking about how bad this is concerns me. I wish people like @kripparian spoke on stuff like this.
@@cheezit970 This is the same concept as Hearthstone Arena, which worked just fine. You can go infinite if you are good at the game, so the argument that this hurts any potential tournament scene is invalid.
This does look really good. I think they got the one important thing that most HS competitors skip. Good board combat! Now I’m actually interested In it more now than the first time I saw it years ago

It'd be cool if you could see these ghost fights that your build has with other players. Like a tab which you could access to look at and see how one of your favorite builds fared, potentially giving some in game currency if thats applicable and to give it an additional purpose, but more so just to let you look back at those great builds.
@@brexity603 If they didn't have ghosts they would have to have real people, which means timers. Ghosts mean you can take your time and play as fast/slow as you want while still getting the PVP experience.

It just feels like a story game but they tell you it’s real people, I would rather fight one guy at the end of every day then a bunch of ghost

I'd understand if its Marvel Snap because I also hate facing against bot in a pvp game but this is genre is completely different.

There is not a time limit for the game, u start a game then u can leave and open the game later and continue ur game from where u left. Like u play 2 days (5 pve encounters + the pvp fight) then u can close the game and open it later on to keep going. If u want to do everything all at once I dont know😂😂
Kripp said on his stream earlier that games take around 20 minutes to complete if you rush through them; but like was said above, there is no need to rush. It's asynchronous, so there is no time constraints on your game. If you want to spend an hour in the shop theory crafting your build, you can do that. If you need to go on vacation for a week during the middle of your run, you can come back to the run and pick up where you left off.

Yeah, items feel like they had too much words for new player. If I send it to a friend that's not invested, they might not bother checking it because of huge info dumps. It's not tiny rogue level of messy, but it can be much clearer with using more icons and popups.
