You're wrong it isn't just about the car it's about the driver it's just become more about the car if NASCAR would go back to where they had the manufacture body and not a race car body it would once again be all about the driver because back then the car had like 95% no handle and so the driver that won the race was the real winner and was the only guy that could handle the car that race
right now it isnt about the driver at all that is why the drivers want to move to the new low downforce package. to put races but in the drivers hands. and back when thr cars were stock it was not all about the driver lol. whatever car model was better that year won 95% of the races
