Once Biffle lost Doug Richert, that killed it. Richert was a total badass bro.
Long career in NASCAR, and a very good Crew Chief. Biffle was an underrated driver. And I'd say Doug was a very underrated Crew Chief as well.
He did win the 1980 championship with Dale Earnhardt

Favorite driver, mainly cause my Dad watched him in Portland and actually met up with him at a local restaurant. Cant wait to see him race the truck race at Texas.

I was a Greg Biffle fan back then. I wanted to see him be first to win a Truck, Grand National and Cup championship
My favorite driver ever! Used to watch him at the now gone Portland Speedway when I was a youngster. Thank you so much for this video! I still think he's one of the best to never win a cup.

That 05 Ford 400 finish was one I'll never forget Biffle was real good in 06 aswell.Also the next year Roush as new Cup Series rookie Carl Edwards still wondering why Roush let him go.

NASCAR Bust: Bobby Hamilton. Jr, Jason "Left Turn" Leffler, Steven Wallace, Stephen Leicht, Andy Lally, and Hermie Sadler.
This was probably one of the biggest Good Seasons where Biffle had an outstanding regular season and he just flat out bombed in the Chase, his biggest flop was probably the Fall Texas race where the #16 team just could never get the handle on the car and he eventually lost the car and had a bad day and never recovered. All in all, a good season but for a while there Biffle could have been the driver to win championships in all three divisions, what a unique accomplishment that could have been.
One of the years he came close to being a triple crown Champ.

I'll never understand why Roush didn't put Chris Buescher in the #16 in 2016. Could've saved the car and keep the team from going in their current direction. Biffle wasn't competitive after 2012. Really, RFR hasn't beeb the same since Matt Kenseth left
Biffle was still competitive in 2013. Took his final checkered flag at Michigan during that season. The next 3 years he then declined significantly...
