Finally some TH-camr who says that warmness 50 is just waaay too much 😁. I'm keeping mine at 30 for now cause I'm used to 0 from my old tv.
But I'm nost sure about the HDR settings in the console settings. 16 clicks from the brightest down to the darkest doesn't work right for me. It makes my screen be way to bright. But if I do 14 clicks from the darkest down to the brightest, then it works just fine.

Adjust logo brightness should always be set at high. LG on their website says that this is the best setting to reduce the risk of burn in. Rtings says to leave it at low because at high it may mistake game UI as a logo and dim that. So if having a bright UI in a game is a must for you then put it at low. But for me I always wanted a setting where I could dim the UI so it’s less distracting
I think your settings have fixed my hdr issue ... Horizon definitely looks better now compared to the sdr i was using. Ya nice one man !

Love the video. I’ve just purchased the G2 on a deep discount. Do you know if game mode on the G2 dims colours significantly like the G3? Flicking between film maker mode and game mode on the G3 highlights how the brightness gets dimmed and colours lose their pop. Do you see this on the G2?
I always use game mode when playing games. Picture looked excellent. 👍🏾
Just got my C2 today and game mode was looking pretty mental and hard on my eyes - these settings make it look great. I'll have a go later with your HDR settings on a film and see what's what. Really helpful

Hi nice video can u please help me how do i know when i Watch hdr or sdr or dolby vision content when i Watch Netflix, Amazon or TH-cam for example i couldnt find a Setting were i can Switch between them
Netflix is always Dolby vision. Watch TH-cam for SDR and HDR.
My mom just bought the LG C3 OLED. Did you make a picture settings video for that TV or would these work on that one as well? I personally used your settings video to calibrate my LG CX TV back in the day. I’ve always liked your settings for that!

Also what do you think, is the G2 that much better over C2? I got my C2 65” and I LOVE IT I had Sony 4K LCD TV before so it’s an upgrade for me, finally I can enjoy the VRR on my PS5 with this panel.
I’m still in the return/exchange window, and I’m thinking to my self should I get the G2 while I can, everyone keep saying that the HDR gaming on the G2 is better but I’m afraid I won’t see that much of a difference between those TVs. What’s your opinion? I will be grateful for any opinion
I feel having the heat sink built Into the frame this will be the brightest OLED. If you plan on keeping this TV purchase for 5 years, than it's worth It. But If you love your C2 than keep It and enjoy all It's glory!

Hi! When you’re doing both SDR and HDR. they’re both separate so is SDR for when you DONT want to play with hdr on in the PS5 settings. And when HDR is ON it used the HDR settings. Or is there a way to switch between both. And do you recommend SDR OR HDR. thanks
Hi, SDR & HDR automatically change depending on what your watching. I enjoy HDR more. Looks great for gaming.

Nice! Compare Scorn on the G2 to the GX. Newer A9s color processing is juiced up in efforts to compete the QDOLEDs.

For most part it looks great. But correct me if I am wrong it seems to have a yellow tint on all settings. Maybe I'm just not use to the oled. I even tried putting it to warm 20( I think that's what makes it yellow). Is it just me not use to it?
That's what you get with a warmer tone. It's normal
Do you have your RGB range set to auto as well on your PlayStation? Also if you have an Xbox what RGB range setting do you use for that on the tv and console?

Nice comparison, what's your take on G2 vs s95b with movies? Which you find delivers the best HDR experience?
G2 has Dolby Vision, so that's the edge for movies. The S95B Is the best HDR for OLED gaming.
@@TheRafcave I actually don't like Dolby Vision format movies :( it's been proven they have undefeatable Adv contrast enhancer that shouldn't be there and I always noticed it

Did you use a color calibrator for these settings?
No, not these TV's only my GX Oled.
I'm a noob at calibrating tvs. Are each of these calibration settings for each individual hdmi port or does one calibration setting apply to all the ports at the same time? I want to get a good gaming TV and this g2 just might be what I need.
Make sure you select apply all inputs, then every input is the same.
C1 owner. Sdr is trash on this TV especially game mode. I've gotten by with vivid mode and thankfully there's almost no input lag. As for hdr I went tone mapping on and there is NO going back. These tvs are naturally quite dim unfortunately

Hey seen you picked up a s95b. I'm thinking about updating my pc setup from a 38" ultra wide and 27 " to a 55" inch oled tv. Which do you think is the best pick to go with? Lg c2, lg g2, or samsung s95b?
If you need G-sync go LG. If you want 144hz go S95B.

@@BCombz81 Depends on the size you need. The 42inch C2 is very popular right now as a PC monitor but be warned the 42 and 48 C2 sizes arent as bright as the 55inch and above sizes by around 20%. As for the G2 its smallest size is a 55 but it is brighter than the C2 series because of the heatsink.

I don't think It's there anymore. You probably need an external pattern generator.
For the Nintendo switch I had to raise the colour from 55 to 70.

How do I select the w40 color temperature on the lg cx in the hdr game settings? There are only cool, medium, warm 1, warm 2, warm 3. If I understand correctly the closest value is warm 1?

@@TheRafcave , Tried different color temperatures and the most normal is warm 1 and medium, warm 2 without calibration looks very dark and lifeless, even strange why warm 2 recommend almost all youtubers 0_0

If the games is not made with HDR than sdr is fine. But new games with HDR are always better. 💯👍🏽

Pixel shift Is still a necessary option for OLED. A heat sink Is not 100% OLED burn in proof.

I started using it recently on my C2. I didn't notice any difference between them. I think I might take the OP's advice and see if anything is different.
@@thomasturner3583 I've found out the difference and watched a video about it. Boost mode raises the TVs brightness output by about 100 nits! But only if VRR is not being used or 120fps. I use a PS5 with my C2 and can notice the extra brightness when I play PS4 games since they're not compatible with VRR.
