In Washington State as of 8/2024 the guide says put meds into bottle cap and then into client’s hand or enabler. Our training had us use a cup. For exam I plan to only use bottle cap.
for anyone using this video for review in 2024, the standard is now 8 Rights - route, reason, response, dose, documentation, medication, time, and person
@@peterkanyora940 Hi Peter. I did take the test this past Friday and I passed. Thank God. Just make sure you study really well and watch these videos. The written test was 60 questions and then you do a 3 skills test. It seems like no one in my group watched the videos and I know that one girl didn’t pass, such a bummer. I’m glad it’s behind me. Good luck.
I live in South Africa. I need this job but I cannot get it. My name is Sigqibo Nongcaula. I reside in the Province of The Eastern Cape, in a small town, Qumbu. I'm nearing to 30years of age and I haven't had a decent job. I need this job, I have a passion for aiding people with medical attention. I am fit and energetic. I am a fast learner, I respect client's privacy, helping the client around, I am a patient person.
Good video but time management is something that isn't portrayed as you have barely 5 minutes from start to finish of each skill in order to meet the 20 minute time frame.

Thank you
If you're testing with pro metric don't put it in a cup put it directly in the cap and then the client's hand. I failed that 1 for that reason
thanks for pointing that out
I think you should have a separate cup for the medication
Thank you. I'm testing with them next Friday.
@@SoCalGal1952 did you do it and how was it

that's a bummer bc you're not suppose to rush things
Wouldn't it be easier to use a spoon? Instead of a medicine cup?
A cup is better since the client can't do it alone and with a spoon the meds might split to the floor.
❤
I am just watching to watch it (I'm only 16
